Rode mic is already a well known brand. However, if you want the best in budget, this Rode mic brand will do maximum justice. If you want to experiment with a mic for reel and podcast, this mic helps with some noise cancellation, sound clarity and it is also very sturdy. However, this mic should have had a stand. This can be connected to your laptop or desktop and add a headphone jack for speaking. Even without the headphone jack, you can use it. The sound will be very clear.Downside, it does pickup some noises in the background but while cleaning your audio, you should be able to omit those out. It is obviously much better than generic cheaper mics.

All in all a great buy for someone who wants to get what they paid for and have it up & running in no time.The long version:If you've scrolled this far down into this review, it means that you still have doubts or simply want to know the details before you purchase.This is an excellent microphone but it's not the audio quality that justifies it's price tag (even though that's a major part of it). It's what is included with the mic that raises it's value.While most professional mics come with maybe only a stand, it is very rare to see a quality pop filter to be included. And a pop filter is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT if you are recording vocals. It prevents audio clipping (the type of sound that causes headphone users around the globe to systematically smash their heads into their keyboards) and of course eliminates 'pop' sounds or cancels out the sound of wind/blowing air/your heavy breathing/that extremely loud ceiling fan you have running at full speed. This basically saves you a lot of money from buying a separate pop filter.The mic records over USB at 44khz/16bits max in mono which is adequate as long as the condenser coil is of good quality (which it is). However there is very little you can do to control any aspect of the recording style on the mic. There is no gain control or low frequency cut-off or mic sensitivity control. You can however go into the windows sound options and adjust the 'volume' of the device which auto calibrates everything accordingly. The recording bit rate and bit depth can also be changed here. Everything is (Fascistically) preset to a level that the Rode overlords deemed correct.The good news is... it works!Then what are those giant knobs on the side of mic for?Well, they are solely for the latency free monitoring system built into the mic that you can use by plugging in a set of headphones/speakers(not recommended)/line-out into the provided jack. The knob on the top controls how much of the mic input you want to hear over the desktop audio and the knob on the bottom controls the volume of the headphones themselves. This useful while doing voice-overs, live-streaming or pod-casting to cringe immediately at how terrible you sound in real life.The mic itself is well built out of metal, sturdy, satisfyingly heavy & perfect for killing rats (that would definitely void your warranty). The included table top stand does a good job but it would ideally used with a boom arm or another type of stand depending on your nature of use.The Rode NT-USB is a no frills, all rounded package for the raring-to-go amateur/prosumer looking for an easy to use studio recording experience.

I recommend this mic company and this mic in particular to so many people. This is awesome sound quality for a great price!!!! 10/10! Crispness and there is even a mic program to download to easily record with this brand!

It’s great. Sounds professional and has a small footprint. Wish it had an onboard nut button but otherwise it’s perfect.

Vi reseñas donde se podía usar con el smartphone usando otg o directo con cable usb c a usb c,pero no logré hacer que funcionara con la camara principal del celular.Obvio en su área el microfono cumple muy bien, conectado a la Mac funciona perfecto.Hice pruebas de audio en todas las formas posibles y el micrófono cumple muy bien, su calidad es un standard.La calidad de los materiales no tiene duda, es pesado aun sin la base que es magnetica, aunque el sistema se me haria viable si asi como es magnetico para el soporte que viene incluido, se pudiera montar en un brazo para microfono sin tener que quitarle la goma que viene en el microfono, creo que el iman solo esta en la base redonda que esta incluida.

Rode es garantía de buen sonido, el costo del micrófono no es "barato" pero vale cada centavo de lo que estás pagando. Si bien el stand no es de aluminio, se siente sólido, pero el micrófono es otra cosa, tiene solidez, peso, materiales de primera calidad, potencia, definición y muy buen alcance, no necesitas pegarte más allá de 15 cm para captar con excelente potencia y claridad.Además si a eso le sumas su app de Rode para configuración y le metes postproducción al OBS con Izotope 9, tendrás algo bastante profesional y decente. 10 de 10 para el tio Rode!

O microfone realmente cumpre o que promete, tendo um bom alcance cardioide, posso coloca-lo contra uma fonte de ruído que deixa muito fácil a remoção deste nos softwares de edição de áudio (Uso o Adobe Audition para a pós produção).Não tive problemas de compatibilidade com nenhum software e sistema operacional, não ocupa espaço físico, muito bom de equalizar na pós produção e aprimorar frequências tanto graves como médio graves e até mesmo agudos.O retorno da voz é excelente também, muito fácil de ser configurado e ideal para ajuste de posição seja do microfone quanto minha (locutor).Recomendo!
