Quality tool
A well made drill, typical of Draper quality, it only had one hole to drill 50 mm deep, but a long way into the ceiling, hence the length, but it easily achieved this.

Kept its sharpness
Drilled through several sleepers with no problem. Good value.

Worked well
Used first time to drill a cable channel through a 50cm wood stump.Did the job in no time but did squeek a lot. Had to drill in several passes as it got quite hot.Retained sharpness at the end of this one job.

Got the job done
Did the job well . Really good for drilling through a beam that no other drill I had would touch.

wood-boring tool
This is a very good tool if you need to bore deep holes in wood as in for example the long holes in standard lamp spindles. It is preferable to have some means of initial alignment so that the tool does not run off centre.

Good drill bit. Delivered fast. But needs a decent drill to drive it.
Have used this to drill numerous holes through 350mm of pressure treated softwood. A sturdy bit that has lasted well and also taken a re sharpen (only needed because I hit a nail!) very well too. One note of caution: you will need a decent drill to use this with. I am using it with a pretty basic 705W corded drill, and it doesn't quite have the power I'd like as there is a lot of friction once this bit is 200 - 300mm into wood.this is obvious really and in no way detracts from this being a very good drill bit.

Fair
A few uses then it blunted and became scrap metal. Met the need for what I needed it for.
