I bought this because both my children are fascinated by rainbows. Aged 3 & 5, they often ask how rainbows are made, and I’ve explained about sunlight being refracted through raindrops - but that’s as far as my science knowledge goes. I figured that showing them a rainbow happening would be more helpful, so I looked online for a prism and found this.Works a treat, both kids were fascinated with it, and I suspect it will be used a lot.Super smooth crystal, I’m not sure what the going rate is for prisms, but at 9.99 it didn’t seem expensive, and it’s nice that it comes in a box to keep it from scratching.

It had it's moments. Just a bit fiddly to use. I only used it like 5 times before getting bored. For the price it's alright but in reality ... You can buy better.

The media could not be loaded. Nice rainbow colour from sun through glass prism create rainbow on wall on floor, lucky sun this morning, I have little gift to my girlfriend :)

I haven't used the product as its a present. But I opened it and the glass was in good condition . I'd seen a lot of comments on other ones for sale saying they arrived with chips missing. But this was perfect. Not too heavy. Only down side is there is no bag to store it included. But there is a soft fabric cloth.

Doesn't work

The prism itself does what I want it to do. I use it for portraiture photography, sometimes architecture too.
