Most products are fine around the eye area, whereas it's not safe to really get any product in the eye unless it's specifically for the eye. So just be careful when applying around the eye and mouth area. And the face is part of your body, so I assume it would moisturize the face as it would any other body part!

I do not really know if it is cruelty free or not, but I do know I absolutely love this product. It is by far my most favorite body cream. I never want to be without it.
