Q: Is this good for postcards?

Depends on your printer. My Brother printer wouldn't print on it. The paper jammed the printer when I tried to print A4 sheets.

Q: Anyone uses on HP envy printer? How is it?

Don't know that printer, but on my Canon iX6850 it was best to feed sheets one at a time, 2 or more jamming. Good quality prints though.

Q: does it has a smooth surface? I bought a Satin finish but it was grainy

Yes it is exceptionally smooth, feeding can be a problem however with the heavier papers,my printer has a rear feed tray which gives a relatively flat feed path!
