Raven’s Brew Coffee Bold Organic Coffee Dark Roast Whole Bean - Wicked Wolf 12oz

took a cup of black coffee in my insulated mug .....hours later, coffee had cooled quite a bit. as we were driving I commented to my husband how smooth and flavorful the coffee still was even in spite of it being poured hours ago. his comment to me was, "you sound like a commercial". a great coffee from start to a late finish !

This is the best coffee we have ever had. We grind the beans and use a french press. Nothing compares. We have had drip, k cup, espresso machines, moca pot. We have tried seattles best, starbucks, dunkin, all of them. This is the best coffee. 👌

I am by no means a coffee snob. I know what I like, and what I expect from my coffee. I want bold, clean flavor, and a good amount of caffiene buzz. This Wicked Wolf coffee does the trick. I got it for a large group of people, and we try/rate new coffees every month. This was a hit with everyone. It is a bold dark roast, but even people who were not accustomed to a dark roast could enjoy the rich and smooth taste of this coffee. I have already bought another 2 pack, and will probably expand to the other types of coffee Raven's Brew offers.

I always enjoy trying new coffees and have had some really exceptional beans over the last couple of years. But I tend to always go back to Raven's Brew. I've tried pretty much everything in their line, and don't have anything negative to say about any of their coffees. I would have to say the Wicked Wolf is my absolute favorite though. I prefer dark roasts anyway, and this one is perfect for me. Although it tastes great from a drip coffee machine, I almost always use an Aeropress. I can honestly say that between Amazon, and my local health food store, that I have gone through at least 10 bags of this stuff. Consistently good every time.

First encountered this coffee in Alaska. Was very happy to find it available at home. Could not get my regular fix, due to my local roaster closing for quarantine. This is better than most widely-available coffee. Beats heck out of Starbucks (yuck) or Peets (slightly less yuck). Almost as good as my usual, which is fresh-roasted daily. Packaging is good for keeping fresh, not so good for plastic waste issue. Not a good trade-off.

Best brand we have tried, we keep coming back to Wicked Wolf. We don’t get that bitter aftertaste that a lot of coffees have, and we love that it’s organic.

I can tell this is high quality coffee, but it's just not a great coffee for me. It's an extremely smooth dark roast with pretty much no detectable bitterness. Honestly, I hate to say this because I feel like it makes me sound pretentious, but it's actually too smooth for me. There's almost nothing really going on. So far I've only tried brewing it in my aeropress, which is my go-to for dark roasts. I think it'll make some great cold brew. I'll try another Raven's Brew as this is clearly high quality, but the Wicked Wolf variety is just not really my preference.
