Purple Case for Apple iPod Classic Hard Case with Aluminum Plating 80gb 120gb 160gb

My iPod has laid dormant for a while until this popped up. It provides great protection while looking sharp. Not bulky either. I’ve enjoyed listening to my iPod again!

I just got my iPod Classic for my birthday. And I was so worried about it not being in a hard shell case. I looked around on amazon to find one. And I was a little iffy about the price, but I figured I'd rather spend 15 dollars for a case and have it protected than spend less and keep having to replace it. I've heard some cases aren't that good, especially ones that have plastic over the wheel, which makes the wheel less responsive. This case does not have plastic over the wheel, which I love. It feels very durable and the color is amazing. It was definitely worth the 15 bucks! I'll probably buy another one in the future just so I'm able to change out colors every now and then. Some people have issues with the back case being clear. I actually like this. It gets to show off the pretty reflective mirror. It'll collect dirt though, I know it. All cases do, just the clear will show it better. Thats fine with me, because I'll just take it out of the case to clean it every now and then. All in all, this was an amazing buy. I'd recommend this case to anyone that has an iPod Classic. Just pick your color, and go! =).

I had a little trouble getting the pieces apart to put my iPod classic inside, but it fits well in the case and I love the looks of the case now that the iPod is in it. It has enough space for the access points like charging and the touch wheel. I like that there is clear plastic covering the screen.

I chose this case after browsing tons of expensive & inexpensive listings. Common complaints on similar products included the case covering the wheel making it hard to press the buttons. This case has openings for all ports and the wheel. It snapped around my Ipod very easily! The screen is protected. It also comes off easily if you want to remove trapped dirt/dust. It makes my Ipod look purple, which I love. I haven't dropped my Ipod yet (I hope I don't), but if I do I am fairly certain the screen will be protected.

I loved this case, but I had to send it back because I have the "old" ipod classic 30gb. I was hoping they made one for this model but I can't find it. I loved this case so much...it just might be time to upgrade so I can reorder the cases in different colors. The plastic is pretty hard too! It clicks together and hold great. Excellent product for the money!!!!

This is the perfect case for my Ipod classic. I tried to find something in my local bestbuy and target, I finally gave in and turned to reliable Amazon. This case has a clear hard plastic back and the color is on the front only. It snaps on easily, able to use all of the functions. No more worries about getting scratched up in the beach bag or when traveling. The bright color makes it so much easier to find in my purse now.

The Backstory: I had just purchased an Apple Ipod Classic (whatever the most current generation is.. 93294 or something like that?) to replace one I lost a year ago. I wanted a durable case that was: 1. Not incredibly bulky 2. Did not let crumbs, dust, etc, slip through. 3. Allowed easy access to ports and click wheel. 4. Was not ugly, yet not too flashy. 5. Under $20 The Search: I only wanted to search Amazon. I knew that any physical store I visited would have higher prices, and no reviews. And I wanted to know what others thought. I searched for a plastic Belkin case I previously used and really liked, but it seemed to be out of stock and/or discontinued. This Purple Hard Case was immediately a front runner. It had good reviews, and the negative ones seemed to be from people who didn't realize that -- unless you were spending almost as much as the ipod itself -- the case would not protect against every throw against the wall, every bread crumb that shouldn't have been left in your purse anyway, or every tsunami. Cuz, you know, they're common. The Delivery: Amazon Prime is the way to go. For serious. Boom. The Usage: Immediately used with the ipod. It comes in two pieces -- front and back. I snapped them on, and voila. I use it at work all the time, and it adds very little bulk. There are times I drop it onto the carpet, and the case does come apart. However, the initial impact is done while the case is connected, and lets face it -- Apple products are pretty durable. It does the job. The Verdict: Very pleased, though I do sort of miss my Belkin case. I feel that came apart a little less. So minus 1 star for that. However: 1. gives minimal protection, which is all I was looking for. I don't exercise with this ipod (I use my shuffle for that), and it stays on my desk or in my purse for all other uses. 2. Debris does not get through. 3. Open access to click wheel, headphone port, etc. 4. Pretty! I'm not a girly-girl by any means, but I did want something other than black. This was pinkish-purple, but not too bright or flashy. 5. Below my price range. That almost gives the lost star back, but not quite.
