Tricep Delight!
I used to have a tricep bar when I was younger, but I lost it when I moved. I recently got back into at-home strength training and tried to find one in the stores...(EPIC FAIL!) I decided to try Amazon and read the reviews for a few that were on here in this price range. I went with this one and when I got it home It was just like the one I used to own. I love the weight of the bar by itself, (solid construction) and it's even better with weights added. Good for hammer curls, skull crushers, and other tricep work. The star locks will spin a bit as you work out, but that's common with tricep bars. I HIGHLY recommend this product if you want a great arm workout. Hope this helps. #Ipickthingsupandputthemdown ;)

Weight of 34 inch Tricep bar
The 34 inch CAP triceps bar weight 16 pounds for the one without collars and 17 pounds for the threaded one with two 1/2 pound collars. It is well made and very sturdy and heavy. The one I purchased for a friend as a gift was beautiful and came in a box that was unbroken. I used Amazon Prime and received it in two days.It really takes the strain off your elbows unlike the straight or cambered bars as the hands face parallel to the body and closely articulate the natural motion of the arm/elbow movement,

Nice bar.
A quality piece of work, I have no complaints. It does exactly what it should and I just wish I'd purchased one of these sooner! The box arrived beat to heck with the end taped back together, but I suspect that was just UPS being UPS. It was delayed several days, I figure it took them a while to put my box back together after smashing it, but the bar was unharmed.

Good with complaints and comments
When I saw the box it came in, I was seriously worried about my order. The box had holes and was clumsily closed off with tape. However this bar came without any damages nor defects and serves its function. The star locks tend to gingle and loosen more easily then those on my other threaded equipment but that is likely normal for this bar.The diameter of the bar is on the small side which is great if you have some "standard" weight plates with holes just barely too narrow for other bars.Although I have not weighed the bar to confirm that it is really 17.5 lbs, it feels like 10 lbs to me. As this bar is

How could you give this a bad review
Its a piece of solid steel designed to lift weights. I wish the capacity it held was heavier but more reps never hurt. LOVE HAMMER CURLS. I like how its a decent weight alone too. And its 40 bucks cheaper than the olympic version, dont get rid of your standard weights! glad I didn't!

Welds were fine for the purpose of the equipment
Welds were fine for the purpose of the equipment. No rust at all. Solid feel and has some weight to it compared to a hollow bar. Grips aligned and well spaced. I like this bar. I've used a variety of equipment over the years. Feels about as good as any other triceps bar that I've used. I do always wear gloves, so that might make me a little less fussy when it comes to the grip compared to someone who might not use gloves. I'd recommend this bar to a friend, especially considering the price.

The good points are that it is durable
This is an "ok" tricep bar. The good points are that it is durable, heavy duty and the spaces between the grips are ideal. The bad is that the plating flakes off pretty easy and the spin collars will be needed to be tightened after every set. I prefer locking collars but for the price this unit does work pretty well. Had an old hollow 1 inch marcy tri bar that finally gave up the ghost , I decided to go with something solid steel and with spin lock collars. Buy it but just be aware of the only 2 faults I could find with it.

Compact, Flexible, and Effective
Great workout bar. I'm disabled and I needed a flexible means of working out because I also don't have a lot of space for equipment. This fit the bill very well. If you need something that allows you a lot of different exercises while not taking up a lot of room then this, combined with a few weights, some resistance bands, etc... will allow you to get your exercise in without having to set aside a bunch of space. I can get my entire "gym" into a box that slides under my bed frame!
