Excellent, we have been looking for a vented cover for months. Because this company had one word in its explanation, which was crawlspace, Amazon knew I was looking for this at a certain size. It is also made for an HVAC. All we had to do was cutoff a little on bottom of each side, due to the L shape we had at the bottom. It is so handsome. We got estimates of crawlspace hardcover, no ventilation , plastic doors, starting at $1500;to $2000 for door and installation. All we had to do was slide this product in, no drilling of anything. Thank you again, great product!

This HVAC Premium aluminum louver vent is very sturdy and feels professionally made. It fits my 24″ opening perfectly and provides excellent airflow. Installation was straightforward, and it looks great on the exterior wall. Highly recommend!

Let me say, these things are robust. High quality construction and design. I noticed one review mention that some of the screws were loose.. so I made sure to check them, and they were all fastened tightly. They came x2 to a box, individually wrapped, with cardboard protecting the face of each unit. For the price it’s hard to beat. The big box stores had nothing with a 10” width, so I had to go online. Ganahl had aluminum louvers, with similar construction, but a higher price tag, and once again, nothing narrower than 12”. Homedepot only had vinyl ones, and also had a higher price tag. When I have the option between metal and vinyl, I always prefer metal. I understand that it may take a bit more maintenance over the course of its life, especially in a beach environment, but I just like the solid feel and rigidity of the aluminum. Like others said, the screen will prevent birds and rodents from getting in, but not bugs, so I plan to install a finer mesh screen over the current screen. Here’s where the product loses one star. I couldn’t find the NFA (net free area) listed anywhere. Since these louvers are 4” shorter than the architect called for in the drawings, I have to do a little math to make sure they provide enough flow for the attic size. I checked the HVACPremium website, and the NFA was not listed there as well. So I called the number, and was told to leave a message or go to the online chat. As I was leaving a message, I got cut off. So I went to the chat, a bot responded, taking down my general info and saying they’ll get back to me. It’s been 2 days and still no email or call. We’ll see how it goes over the next few days, but not the ideal response time you’d hope for. That being said, very happy with the product, both form and quality. I wish they had black available, but I’ll just paint them.

High quality item that exceeded what I was expecting. It was a perfect fit, and the quality of workmanship was impressive. Perfect for an area that contends with hurricanes and requires durability to stand up over the years.

A very sturdy, rigid wall vent with a nice, heavy looking powder coat. It has a wire mesh rodent barrier built in but lacks an insect screen.

I don't review the majority of products I buy on here and never thought I'd review something as basic as a vent. But after having purchased several of the extremely low quality vents from the local big box hardware store, I was seriously impressed when I pulled this out of the box. This is a very rugged unit made out of nice thickness material. I ordered mine in white and the finish is flawless (and was well protected by corner guards in shipping). My only wish is that it came with a bit smaller hole size screen, but that's something I'll add myself. This is going in a shed for passive heat ventilation, and I'm a bit worried about bees / wasps crawling through. But I absolutely wouldn't hesitate to buy another of these in the future as they are very nice parts for a reasonable price.
