Nice protective gloves

I received these cut resistant gloves by Stark Save the other day and just had a chance to try them out. The gloves arrived as a set of two ambidextrous gloves; a feature I really liked because you usually only have to protect one hand while cutting, therefore I can put one aside and use it once the other is worn out. The gloves are some type of fabric and as the product information says, they are breathable. To test the cut resistance, I first sharpened my chef’s knife, it isn’t a fancy knife from Scandinavia or someplace like that, but I honed it with my knife steel so I assure you it was sharp. First I ran the knife across my fingers in a slicing motion and was very surprised to find that my hand was totally protected. Secondly, I gripped the knife to give it a test with more pressure then I pulled the knife through my grip and found that my hand was totally protected! As with other reviews for this product, I will note that these gloves offer cut resistance, not puncture resistance as they are fabric and not chain-mail. Most of the time I am a size large in gloves, I ordered the medium size and they fit my hand perfectly. i wish i'd gotten these a long time ago-i am used to working with my hands-retired machine operator-i just grab a hammer or whatever and start doing whatever needs doing but recently i was working on my office chair and took a hammer hit my finger so hard i thought i'd have to go get stitches from the bleeding-anyway-these make me feel like i can work on anything even if i just put on one hand and i feel much better wearing them-i got size small and they fit perfect-i am 5'3 and 120 female with average size hands

My delivery was late but the gloves fit my son perfectly. These are great light weight gloves to help prevent kitchen accidents. Not technically puncture proof like chain metal gloves but they do help prevent accidental cuts and slip ups and are machine washable.

Great product for safety! I often cut a finger when working in the kitchen but these are keeping me safe! I use a glove on the hand that is holding the food. The glove is too slippery for me to use on the knife-holding hand. I washed the gloves in a wash bag & they came out like new. Great purchase!

Got thses to go along with some razor sharp new kitchen knives as I tend to be klutzy around knives. When they are dull...I don't worry too much...But I'm really nervous around these new ones. The gloves are soft and pliable but you can feel the kevlar type protection thread. The instructions say DO NOT TEST THESE WITH SHARP OBJECTS and makes clear that the gloves are cut resistant but not cut proof and will wear through if abused. Since I'm only going to be using the right glove...I decided to mini test the left one to give myself either a cut or piece of mind. The good news is that slicing or grabbing on to the knife blade worked out just fine. I'm very happy with the performance of these gloves a 5 on everything except durability since I don't have info on that...but initial durability seems fine. Fit and stretch in the gloves is fine as well. Recommended

These are great and work extremely well. I use them mainly when butchering fish ive caught. They're super easy to clean.

I purchased these gloves for the kitchen but we had an accident during window installation and a huge window fell out and broke in our lanai. My husband and I donned these gloves and picked up shards of glass and never got cut. There would have been no way we could have done that bare handed. They were a lifesaver! They are also great in the kitchen especially cutting apart slippery ribs. I highly recommend them!
