One 15.4 oz Amy's Organic Refried Vegetarian Black Beans

If you are trying to eat beans more often there is an easy way to do it! Simply split a can of refried black beans into two plastic or glass containers. Then top with avocado, sour cream, cheddar cheese and sliced black olives. It keeps in the refrigerator a few days. By covering up the avocado with the sour cream it keeps the avocado fresher longer! I've tried two types of refried beans from Amy's and the black beans are really the best most flavorful beans ever! I got two cans last time and made four containers of bean dip. Just add some tortilla chips and you have a small meal! I'll be getting these again! Soon! Like today! lol ~The Rebecca Review

Delicious! I was very pleasantly surprised at the great taste of these. Great way to eat black beans. They have a good, mild flavor and made some great burritos. I am vegetarian, and try to limit (but yet to exclude) dairy. These would go good with dairy add-ons, tofu cheese, or just some spice and veggies. The flavor leans more toward that of the black bean than the "buttery" or "fatty" flavor of say, a Taco Bell burrito, as you might expect. The easy-open can is really nice when you are trying to make a quick meal. Just a reminder with this type of can, rinse the top to keep the contents from getting dust, etc., inside, and after opening, the interior rim is really sharp, so keep fingers, kids and pets out. The rim is really knife-sharp, but if you use a spoon, no problem. I would recommend these, for sure!

I have tried just about every brand of canned refried beans out there - both black beans & pinto. Although nothing beats homemade refried beans from scratch, these are the closest thing. I was very surprised how how very delicious and flavorful they are - they’re actually quite addictive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Thanks for making these beans for our Taco Tuesdays! These beans are much darker than regular brown refried beans. I have picky kids who don’t like to try something new if it looks different. Just add a scoop of sour cream while cooking the beans on the stovetop. It makes them creamy and turns the color to a much kid-friendlier refried bean topping. They didn’t notice the difference…they were too busy grubbin’.

I've tried several of the other brands of refried black beans and these are much better tasting and a much better consistency than the other brands. You pay a bit more for this then some of the other brands but they are better.

Best canned beans hands down, and it’s organic!! Love this brand.
