A Trusted Wellness Essential: My 5-Year Experience with the Ionic Detox Foot Bath Cleanse Spa
I have been using the Ionic Detox Foot Bath Cleanse Spa since 2019, and it has become a reliable part of my wellness routine. The package comes complete with a sturdy basin, 100 disposable liners, and two round black arrays, making it easy to maintain cleanliness and hygiene between uses. The foot bath itself is simple to set up and use, delivering a gentle yet effective detoxification experience. The black arrays are durable and efficient, lasting through multiple sessions before needing replacement. The included liners are a thoughtful addition, ensuring the basin stays clean and reducing the hassle of cleanup. The overall build quality of the set is solid, and the foot bath feels spacious and comfortable. While detox effects can vary from person to person, I've found it to be a relaxing and beneficial addition to my self-care routine over the years. The experience is calming, and even when the detox effects are subtle, the relaxation alone makes it worthwhile. Overall, this foot bath cleanse spa is a good investment for those interested in exploring ionic detox therapy. It provides everything you need in one package, with the added convenience of easy cleanup.

it doesnt cause toxins to go into the water
it stimulates metabolic processes that leads to you excreting toxins later. i was expecting to feel nothing, colleagues generally recommending products taht cost around $2,000, so i was skeptical of this one. while i am sure those products are good, what I was surprised with was how good this felt with my feet in the water. I am noticing a surprising effect.. I tend to be very sensitive about things (can feel just about anything from whether your cell phone's wifi is on to your thoughts to what an infant is trying to say), and this product feels really good to me. can definitely sense a lot is happening. as for the skeptics, you can look at the explanation of ionic foot baths on the sophia health institute's websites (sorry guys for referencing you publicly). the people who test the active impact of heavy metals like aluminum (which is probably the main single toxic chemical issue ionic footbaths are known for) find great results with this difficult to excrete chemical. the body of literature on whether or not we need detox, is actually quite on the side of yes, we do. is this single item an entire detox program? no, its not. is it part of a reasonable program? intelligent people would disagree; you should be working with someone who can help guide you through testing (art or otherwise) on the toxic chemicals and metals that are impacting you personally. everyone's case is different.

Water Softener tested (still needed to add salt) WORKS!!
I only gave it 4 stars because there are no instructions on how to clean the array. Do you use soap? What kind? Just rinse off? There was no instructions on what to do if you have a water softener. I did nothing the first time, since salt is already in my water and the water barely turned any color, let alone, pull any toxins out. The next time I added some table salt. I used the scoop included until the water started to change (don't forget to "swish" your feet to mix the salt and water) I have had a Spa treatment before and the lady had said she added too much salt and it "burned out" the array. So, I knew to add only a little at a time. It worked perfectly. It pulled toxins out at about the 10 min point. I knew from my Spa treatment what to look for to make sure it's working properly. The array will turn the water "rusty". (That's what it's suppose to do) Then it'll start pulling toxins out (the scummy, floating stuff). I had used about 5 pitchers of water (2 qt pitchers, or about 10 qts) Others might need more or less depending on how big your feet are. Those of you that are saying it's a "scam" are not using it properly. If it doesn't have "floaters" on the top of the water, it's not working properly, your array could be bad or you need to add salt.

Worked from the first use
I looked at other reviews and people expect it to make a difference by the time their feet come out of the water. If you research these, it says the water changes colors due to the reaction to the impurities in the water used. My father-in-law used it and for about a day afterwords he urinated several times, flushing the toxins out of his body. He was supposed to increase his fluid intake for 24 hours after the detox, which he did a little, but not as much as he should have. He said he noticed a significant difference in the color of his urine throughout the day as it got clearer. This may not seem like much but he is a 75 yr old man who has alot of kidney and prostate issues, so anything that can help is great.

Pseudo-Science
So out of the box I was impressed by its ease of use. I put it together and ran the system with my feet in the tub. To my horror, the water was nearly black and appeared scummy! Same with the second run. I then decided to see how discolored the water became during a run without my feet in it, ionizer only. Well, unfortunately, the water looks the same! I believer that the discoloration of the water is due to oxidation occurring through the coils of the ionizer. I suspected as much after dumping the first two tubs of dirty water and observing the particles that had settled to the bottom. In my opinion, while being a decently built product, its likely to be a well designed health myth. Save the money and eat healthier. The only thing this will do for you is soften your skin and nails for ease of exfoliating or cutting.

Works great!
Strangely gross but yet so satisfying. Immediately it was drawing out the metallic ions from the water then as it was working with my feet the water turned gross. It was refreshing and the swelling of my feet was removed with in the 30 session I did. Worth it 100%

Foot spa does not support the detox of your feet. After apparatus set up the water color change to a yucky murk will happen due to ionization of water chemicals whether your feet are submerged in the water or not. Messy to clean up your feet after because they will have the murky stuff you will need to wipe out. Have paper towel and not your favourite towel close by to wipe of the murk from your feet. I don't think I got the detox I was looking for. Lesson learnt.
