Seems very robust with a couple of useful mounting options, lanyard and velcro "watch style" band, I just hang it round my neck while cycling. It virtually controls EVERYTHING on my GoPro Session, even stuff that I can't get to on the camera itself such as led options, loop video, even WiFi app mode - although I have to disable app on the camera itself when I've finished so the remote is able to work with camera again, the only downside. It's a godsend for me because my camera is mounted on my helmet so there's no easy way to control it or check its status especially while I'm moving. It takes a while to get used to the menu and pairing systems but it's well worth the slight hassle - my GoPro was mounted to my helmet six months ago and I've used it three times in that position while riding before I bought this remote control - now I use it everytime I ride!

It was annoying to constantly take it off off or remove my helmet just to make sure the camera is working with this remote at least I'll be able to be sure that the cameras doing that supposed to be doing it was a little bit fiddly getting it to connect to the camera but after that it worked perfectly I'll update my review once I've had time to play with it and use it for the next couple of

Ok here a real review, not biased and not fake like all the others. A review you can rely on and 100% true. Pros: 1- once you start a remote for a first time it will pair with your go pro. I have the Gopro 7 hero black edition. 2- you can scroll through the different modes from the remote once its connected. 3- you can easily record and stop recording. Cons: 1- once connected the first time, when you switch off the remote. And switch it back on it will successfully switch the camera on as well. But it will get stuck on Wifi mode to connect to the camera although it manages to switch it on. 2- you have to do the pairing all over again. And after everytime you switch the remote off. 3- main reason I bought this because I needed the remote to display the amount of time the video is recording and what mode the camera is on. Guess what the picture of the remote has that feature but the remote does not have it. It's very disappointing and very fake picture. They should change the picture because that's not true indication of what the remote is capable of doing. 4- the remote is very expensive since it's not capable to mirror the go pro status screen. And it's just a remote that can work only one time after every pairing. Absolutely pointless and not worth the money. Dont but this, waste of money and time. They have it as prime delivery and ot was delivered 3 days later! How is that even prime!!?? That's what you get when you buy Chinese fake stuff. Just buy the original Gopro remote it's well worth the money.

Took it out on the Sea to film kitesurfing Weather was cold, about 7'C Remote is easy to pair with GoPro Hero 7 Black. Paired it once on setup, it connects to the camera as long as you enable wifi on the GoPro. Used it a few times, not needed to re-pair it with the camera which is good :) Mounted the GoPro7 on a UGo Kiteline mount approx 2 metres above me looking down. The remote works great in cold salt water. Easy to change modes. Make sure you set your resolution and frame rate before using the remote example Video = 4K 60p H265, Pro Tune Photos Burst mode as you can only change between Video, Stills, Hyperlapse and Timelapse The GoPro battery will run out long before the remote does. 2 hours into the session remote was about 2/3rds charge so think it will last about 5hours Velcro strap is very secure Overall really impressed with it. Half the price of the genuine GoPro remote and it works.

I bought this remote to use with my GoPro Hero 7 Black, I mount it on my crash helmet which makes manually operating it dangerous & difficult, It took three attempts to pair it to the camera, it 'lost' it's paring several times since & had to be re-paired to the camera, I used the wrist strap to fix it to the handlebars of my scooter & it worked a treat, easily turning recording on & off, perfect I thought, then the battery died ! I don't suppose I got more than one hour from the remote, & that's only starting & stopping the video recording while riding the scooter. Potentially a great bit of kit let down by rubbish battery life, Oh! & the stupid charging lead, I left it home on a recent trip but thought it's ok I'll use a phone charging lead, but no, only the hook style plug will fit. Someone please make an adaptor block 'hook to usb'.

This is a cracking remote for half the cost of what the GoPro version would set you back. I found it easy to pair with my Hero7, it's really well made, easy to use and the led display is very helpful letting you know what mode you are in. Comes supplied with a velcro strap and a lanyard so you have some choice how you want it. The usb cable is unique so don't lose it. packing is nice for those that key excited about unbloxing..all round very impressed for the price.

Great little remote that duplicates your GoPro window so no guessing. Connects easily and is handy for switching your recording on and off. Disappointed that there is no button or option for Key file Framing to save separate files. Read the specs as I cant comment on weatherproofing or battery life!

Whatever the instructions may claim - this device does not pair with the GoPro Hero 8 and you will find that the battery runs out long before it actually pairs. All the reviews actually only mention the Hero 7 - which it may well work with - but if you hope to use it with your Hero 8, you're in for a let down.

Les explications fournie avec la télécommande ne sont pas assez explicite, mais en regardant sur internet j'ai trouvé plus d'explication. Pour ma Gopro Héro 3 + cela fonctionne parfaitememnt.

Recu aujourd'hui , mise en service dans la foulée en 5 mn sans problème grâce aux instructions en français Fonctionne parfaitement sur mon camping car avec la Gopro fixée sur le pare-brise de l'intégral donc loin du volant là où j'ai fixé la telecommande et c'est très pratique

Klasse einfache Einstellung der Fernbedienung zur GoPro Cam. Ein- und Ausschalten klappt, auch, mit Motorradhandschuhen. Montage am Motorrad vorgesehen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
