I was somewhat nervous about cleaning the sensor on my Sony A7R. However I needn't have been. Using the Type 3 Sensor Swabs with a few drops of Eclipse Sensor Cleaning Fluid (both manufactured by Photosol.com) was really very easy and sorted out the problem in one go. The instructions on the box are easy to follow and there's a couple of useful videos on the manufacturers website which show how to undertake the task of cleaning as well as rather reassuringly guaranteeing the safety of the sensor when using the product. The only negative is the high price of both the swabs and the fluid But then again, it all works out much cheaper than sending the camera off to have it professionally cleaned. All in all an effective though rather expensive product.

Used it on my dusty D600 sensor.... yep... I'm one of thoseIts the only one with some kind of guarantee that it does't scratch the sensor (together with the regular Eclipse solution).Had to do 5 swab cleanings after 4000 shut. act. but it got the job done.

Very Easy to use, no fuss with clear instructions

Does the job,not cheap,but a lot cheaper than taking it to a camera shop & paying £50 to have the sensor cleaned.

These swabs are very good, each is individually sealed, so that you know nothing should be on them when you go to use them. BUT they are very expensive for what they are: a piece of linen on a small plastic stick, held together by a tiny elastic band. They arrived promptly and securely.

Sorted out the sensor on my Sony A7iii without trouble as per instructions. The high price is not Amazon's problem as such, since prices from other outlets are in the same ball park. Manufacturing costs must be in the pennies.

Cleaning the sensor. Easy to use and effective.They removed dust from snesor with no problems just use sensor swab liquid with these swabs.

I have been using these for years and they're a pain in the neck but probably the best way to clean your sensor. Massively over priced and require a very long winded process!!
