I love my Pyle Megaphone, but I did have an immediate frustration. When I inserted the batteries according to the battery diagram, it did not work.I inspected the lid structure, there was a different diagram just the opposite of the one glued in at the battery compartment. When I reversed the batteries according to the lid, the megaphone worked as promised. Once I corrected the battery arrangement the megaphone was super!

really cool and we got it at a ok price , but the feedback on this unit is harsh and the outer ring to help with grip never worked right .

This should be ZERO STARS. COMPLETELY DEFECTIVE, DO NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT OR SUPPLIER. Product arrived brand-new, I placed batteries in, and it didn't turn on. I troubleshot for an hour, ensuring the batteries were correctly placed and no other issues were present. The product made no sounds. The product is compeltely defective and I am in the process of returning it. Waste of time and money.

I originally considered giving this product just one star because of a major design flaw, but I’ll settle on three since it does have some nice features, like Bluetooth connectivity and a decent siren. The biggest issue, however, is that it doesn’t have a proper on/off switch. No matter which mode you leave it in, the unit continues to drain the battery. The only way to slow down the drain is to turn the volume all the way down after each use, but even then the battery isn’t completely disconnected. As a result, if you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself replacing batteries much more often than expected.

This is my second purchase of this model. The old one survived a bit of abuse and several years use. It looks like they improved overall build quality. The rear control panel label seems more secure(old one had to be taped down after a year. They battery compartment seal is no longer an o-ring that can be lost it's more secure. Sound quality is about the same. If you're using this for music know it won't be the same quality as a party speaker. It's not supposed to be. These are great for sporting events, parades, etc I use mine as a loudspeaker for events in my Grinch themed car and it works great!

I purchased a similar model PMP50 PYLE PRO PMP50 Professional Piezo Dynamic Megaphone consumer electronics Electronics previously and was totally satisfied with the quality and performance. This purchase is just as good but won't really be put to test until a couple of weeks from now. I have not tried out the blue tooth feature as of yet. That was just a nice additional extra to me. Amazon displayed this item as "used" since it was not in its original box and had been repackaged. The order was delivered within 3 days and was in brand new condition. It was still in its factory protective plastic bag including the original owner's manual and registration card.

Acheté pour faire les zouaves pour un enterrement de vie de jeune homme... fallait que ça fasse du bruit. Et ça a été le cas, désolé aux voisins et à tous les gens qu'on a croisés ce jour là. Le son est fort, très fort. Vraiment fort. On peut régler le volume en mode micro mais pas en mode Bluetooth ou carte MicroSD, donc c'est un peu embêtant. Au final, en mode vieux bourrés avec le haut-parleur Bluetooth à fond devant le micro du mégaphone, ça a fait un son aussi gras que nous et c'est tout ce qui comptait. Donc à recommander, pour usage sérieux ou moins sérieux !
