Great thermometer, used for the whole family. Seems pretty accurate. Good quality, easy to use (if you remember to remove the lens cap!). Super fast, and easy to read. Good value

Thermometer is easy to use and is good quality. Simply press the on button, hold to the forehead, press the thermometer button and swipe until the beep stops. It gives accurate readings and is great value for money.

It is overall good - easy and hyper quick 3 seconds temperature check . I used to wait 3 minutes olden days so this is something strikingly attractive. However, at the beginning, it showed 5 different temperatures every time I scaled from down to upper temperatures. It got to be kept in a room temperature for at least 10 mins out of the box as per the instruction. Once followed it, it shows possibly slightly higher temperature than other thermometers as other people say so I would deduct -1 . When I started feeling good and had my appetite back, my temperature dropped so I assume it gives some indications of accuracy and reliability. It is more hygienic not touching your tongue or ear . Under arm never be comfortable and not accurate. The aaa batteries were included . Once getting used to use it , this is not bad at all. If you use it for yourself, use your mirror to see the screen . I am happy with my purchase so far . A bit more fun element there as hyper quick. It beeps when it is ready to scale and when it finishes scaling your temperature.

I’ve tried a few cheaper thermometers over the years, but none have come close to this one in terms of accuracy and ease of use. The non-contact option is a lifesaver when the baby is asleep — it’s possible to check their temperature without waking them up. The Age Precision feature is surprisingly helpful; it makes interpreting temperature much easier since “normal” can vary depending on age. Setting the age range and seeing the colour-coded display (green, yellow, red) makes it simple to know whether to worry, even in the middle of the night when half-asleep. It also doubles as a food or bath thermometer, which I didn’t expect to use much but actually do — especially for bottles and bath water. The readings are quick (literally a second or two), consistent, and clear even in dim light thanks to the backlit screen. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit bulkier than expected, but that’s a small trade-off for the reliability. Accurate readings are much more important than a slim design. If you’re looking for something fast, accurate, and child-friendly, this is absolutely worth it. Bought this as a backup thermometer as my children are now teenagers. I had to use it recently cos the younger one kept feeling tired, but the fluctuations and inaccurate readings were a joke. The temperatures kept changing every time we measured, and at one point it everyone in the house had a fever. Completely unreliable. Now I've to find a new thermometer, and defo will avoid non-contact.

Versatile, does what it says on the packet and runs on decent batteries, not silly, fiddly button cells.

I love the features of this thermometer. It is super quick, you get a reading in 1 second, and super easy to use, and like other Braun models, it alerts you of fever for different age ranges so you don’t have to remember what they were for each age. Also love that you can measure liquids with it, including bath water, formula, food etc! However what is a bit questionable is the accuracy. I compared the readings to other thermometers, and the Braun is always a bit lower than the others (even when compared to another infrared no touch thermometer). As you can see, there is a 0.4 difference which seems like quite a bit in my opinion (36.97, so essentially 37 in the digital and 36.6 in the Braun). When tried a second time on another adult, the digital showed 37.0, a different infrared one showed 36.9, and the Braun showed 36.7. So I concluded from those two measurements that the Braun seems to show slightly lower readings. I don’t mind a difference of 0.1, like in the other one, that sounds very reasonable and accurate, but consistently showing 0.3 and 0.4 less than other thermometers is a bit too inaccurate for me. Especially when it comes to children, therefore I returned, since my main purpose was to use this on my baby (and in babies 0.4 is a huge difference). I have chosen to keep the other one from another brand that consistently showed only a 0.1 difference.

It's so easy to use, especially for children. One quick silent swipe and you're done. Took one star as I'm not sure of its exact accuracy. Temp readings can vary by a degree or so even if they're taken within the same minute. It's good enough to tell how sick someone is though and that's what's important

I bought this for myself as an adult. It's very easy to use, the display is big and easy to read. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable digital thermometer that can be used with babies, toddlers and adults.
