Rocketfish 2-Output HDMI Splitter with 4K at 60Hz and HDR Pass-Through

13 years ago I could not easily figure out how to connect all my devices to my television. I found the Rocketfish 4-port switch box on Amazon and purchased it. It has worked flawlessly for over 13 years. Just recently one of the ports stopped working. I decided to purchase another exact device. If it holds up as well to use multiple times daily, I'll be just as satisfied with the new one as I have been with the old. All you have to do is plug things in and route the power cord to an outlet. There is no messing around with having to go online to activate it or download anything. I love it!

I use one to switch between 2 computers, Roku and an Amazon Fire stick, works flawlessly. Be sure to use high quality HDMI cables. Another I have in the front room switches between an Amazon Fire stick, Apple TV, a Blue Ray Player and another computer. It too works flawlessly.

I bought this new. Upon receiving it, the product box looked very beat up. I ignored that, hoping for the best. When I opened it, the power wire was at the top in a jumbled need, rather than neatly packaged using the twist ties that were still attached. I overlooked that as well. Then I removed that actually HDMI Switch. Or still had the plastic sleeve around it, and the plastic sick to the front. BUT IT HAS NO REMOTE! How am I supposed to switch between inputs without a remote? Unless the seller sends me a remote for the HDMI Switch, I'll be returning it and purchasing from a different seller. To be clear, if this had all it's peices, the product would be receiving 5 stars. I have another of the same product already that works wonderfully.

After having a couple similar units over the years, we had one that simply stopped working, I immediately searched Amazon for a replacement and after reading about this product, I pulled the trigger. It's just been a few weeks, but I am finding the efficiency superior.

As far as the splitter goes, it’s great with 4K content. However, the remote could use an upgrade. It only works half the time...even with brand new batteries.

The last HDMI switch box I ordered supported 4k but only at 30 fps, a detail you don't really understand until you hook it up to your TV and realize how awful it looks. I bought this one from Best Buy when it went on sale and was happy to find it displaying 4k at 60 fps. I connected it to my Apple TV 4k, Roku 4k, Chromecast Ultra, and 4k Bluray player. I bought a second one from Amazon and connected it to my Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro. Neither box has given me any issues. I highly recommend this product.
