Fairyopolis: A Flower Fairies Journal

This was a present for a 12 year old girl I think she really liked it and can read the Cursive font which is not easy so unless you don't mind just looing at pictures know that the person can read it. The book looked lovely and has cushioned cover feels quite special and makes wonderful gift.

Bought for my 6 year old. Although the script is tiny and a slight nightmare to read we are hunting through finding new ways of finding the fairies in our garden. Has beautifully crafted pages and my daughter has taken to carrying parts of the book (envelopes etc) in her pocket for good luck. A real find, and must for any true believer.

I've had this book for quite a few years its a lovely book for fairy lovers I intend to pass it down to my little grandaughter she will love it just as I did

These are lovely books to pore over, opening the little envelopes and mini books inside the main book. Fabulous illustrations throughout and I will pass them onto my granddaughter when I become too grown up to enjoy them... well I'll leave them in my Will!

This is a fabulous book beautifully illustrated with lots of hidden things on the pages. Bought as used in very good condition but is actually like new. Very satisfied customer.

I had this book as a child. When this one came I was exited to show my child all of the little letters and magic glasses. Some reason the end page had an old barbie toy mirror in instead

I was a bit disappointed as not all the features that you find in the original prints are with this book i received? The Jewel on the cover is missing and also the 3d/magnifying glasses that you are supposed to find in an envelope attached to the back page of the book is missing, but then again i did not pay a whole lot for this print, but it was still disappointing.

Muy bonito, en perfecto estado por la protección en el envío, lo unico que llegó por correos y como no cabe en en buzón, tuve que ir a recogerlo por allí, por lo demás todo bien, el libro, aunque está en inglés (en español ya no lo encontraba por estar ya descatalogado), es perfecto para coleccionar o regalar a una niña.

This book is just as enchanting, as the Dragonology, and Wizardology books, if not more. It is for people of all ages, and if you weren't interested in fairies before, you are now. The book is full of the whimsical fairy images and details of fairy encounters by the artist, Cicely Mary Barker. You will also find many surprises in this book, such as letters, postcards, fairy dust, and even a gift from the fairies at the end. It seems that this book is aimed more for children, but is most definitely something an adult will enjoy, whether they are reading it to their child or reading it alone. You or your child will be drawn into the wonders of this book. The fairies are child-like, dressed in leaves and flowers. There are many things hidden in this book, to find. The book brings another world to you or your child, and will no doubt, allow your child's imagination to grow, and yours to grow with it. I don't know if this would be the perfect gift for young children. Try to imagine what they would do to a pop-up book before you give this as a gift. I hope authors and artists keep coming out with more books like this one. It brings a new excitement to reading and art, which is something that everyone can learn to appreciate.
