Dayton Audio DC28F-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter

Amazing sound, performs well down to 2,000 Hz and all the way past 20,000 Hz. Definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality tweeter at a bargain of a price. These easily outperform more expensive tweeters.

this is great driver, im using it ob my massive trix mtm build and it sounds fantastic. a bit expensive at 30usd with shipping and all, you couod get it at 15usd if you buy directly from stores. but still what a fantastic driver ! highly recommended

Very nice product, 4.8 stars.. Very well built tweeter. Really Clear and crisp to the point that it may be a little over powering but in a nice way (not ear peircing). I'd buy again. I used it for my Sony tower built, replaced all the drivers. Bottomline I am very satisfied.

Very good old school tweeter, must use a crossover to protect it

Made a boombox restore project and crammed a set of these in to my boombox. Very happy with the highs this tweeter puts out! This coupled with the DC160-4 woofers and a decently set up crossover network gives you great sound reproduction. Very wide sound. Not the greatest by far, but still a very wide and well extremely represented soundstage for the price.

I recently was given some very good 6.5" speakers and used these as the tweeters in the cabinets I built. The sound is very natural and does not strain the ears at all (as some harsh tweeters do). At first I thought they were very low on output, but after changing the crossover point they sounded great (moving it down). Great imaging and natural sounding tweeters. Highly recommend.

L ho filtrato con condensatori da 6 MF e bobina da 0.25 più una Zobel cond 3.3 e R da 7 ohm. Abbinato a mid cupola in seta taglia intorno a 3000 hz e doppio woof da 20 cm... Per me rapporto qualità prezzo elevatissimo ed ancora devo rodarli... Super consigliato

自作のサブスピーカー2way用に購入。コンデンサの種類や定数を色々変え、tweeter自体も色々替えて、悩んできた実験機ですが、このtweeterはしっくり収まってくれました。音の好みは様々でしょうが、この製品は、嫌な、耳に付く不快な音を注意深く取り除いてあるような音です。といって、鈍い怠けたような音でもありません。super tweeterを付けたような具合にはいきませんが、高音はきちんと伸びています。確かにクラシックと冠を付けているのが分かるような音です。弦や声に良いのではないかと思います。もう二本追加して、片チャン2本をパラって鳴らしたらどうなるかなと思わせる音でもあります。で、しばらくは調整をして楽しみつつ、早晩追加購入するつもりにさせる製品だと思います。おすすめしても恨まれないかなと。

Pour le prix le rendu du son est assez bon

They have great sound at low level listening, but for audiophiles that like to hear it from one end of the house to another, I highly recommend turning down the mid section 2.5-3k area!
