I was a bit sceptical about this, but i must say it works perfectly. No issues, nice and bright i can see the dog in the garden when he goes out at night.

I actually ordered the white version of this light but was sent a black as there is an error on the listing. However, these are excellent solar security lights. The brightness is really good and illuminates a decent area. I have it by our back door where it would be difficult to put a main powered lamp. The sensor works well and detects you immediately I step out of the door. It stays on just long enough but will come on again quickly if needed. The construction is really solid. There are lots of similar solar lights on the market but in my opinion this is far superior. It was installed in December, so not a lot of daylight to keep it charged but it still keeps working perfectly well. I am about to order another one for where I park my car. I would definitely recommend this brand and this light in particular.

This is stylish , I like the fact that it is at dim at night but as one approaches it becomes bright or on any movement. good quality , motion dectection, brightness, easy of installation, if you are DIY but i am not so i had to get someone to put up for me. Awaiting to see how this operations in the winter

Works great! Just make sure it’s south / west facing so the solar panel can charge the battery!! S

Very disappointing, a great looking lamp but i am sure that the PIR only works to detect low light, switching the lamp on then within 30 minutes drains the power completely. Not recommended at all. Not what i bought it to do.

I needed a light for in the garden, to keep an eye on the dog in the dark winter evenings, and this has exceeded expectations. It looks smart, is very bright, and does more than I needed it too. The light has three settings, operated by a rubbery button on the back. Each time you press cycles through the next settings - a bit like the settings on Christmas lights. The first setting is dim and always on. However, the second setting offers a dim back light that offers localised lighting and activates the motion detector. When a person, or dog, passes it turns on the front facing light which has a great throw, so I can see all the way down the garden. The light has a simple fixture of three screws (one at the bottom which you should fit first to anchor the device to the wall or shed, followed by two at the top). On very bleakest and wettest days at may not have enough charge for the evening, but that is the down fall of solar power. However, I've had mine installed for a few weeks and the majority of the time, even on overcast days it offers a bight light when I need it. We've been so impressed with this little light and the price that we've bought one for each of our parents when Father's Day comes.

Very good had one outside brighter than I thought excellent.

I am on my second one the first lasted 1 year, then the internals failed, only tried another because I could not be sure if it was the battery or internals that failed. The old battery is now in the new unit so when it fails again I will have an easy check. It did not appear water had got in. I have its larger option which is still going after 18mths. On the positive side, the light output was more than adequate to light up the drive so you could find the front door and keyhole, the sensor sensitivity is good when crossing the beams, walking directly to it not so good (although this is common on most PIR lights). Very easy to install but don't rely on the hole position measurements in the box they may not be correct (best to position the light, work out where the lower screw goes drill that hole then mount the light on that screw; then mark out the other holes).
