Great spice mix for tandoori chicken. Chicken was grilled. Gives superb flavor and vibrant color.

Great flavor. I mixed with the mild curry powder and yogurt and marinated and baked my chicken breasts for chicken salad.

I love using spices and herbs in my cooking and this was a great addition to my growing stash. It was very spicy similar to cayenne pepper, but it did not stop me from using a generous amount in my cooking. It worked wonderfully in my butter chicken! I did not like the fact that it came in a plastic bag but I had the option of purchasing it in a more convenient package so that’s my fault. The price for the amount is very fair.

Short of making your own masala just buy this one authentic flavorful fresh no artificial ingredients This is exactly what they make from scratch in Indian homes. Amazing how fresh it smells (they must really be making small batches and throw away the old stock)

Excellent quality Tandoori masala with no artificial colors

Manufacturer need to hire a Punjabi person to manufacture this Tandori spice. It does not have the quite Punjabi taste. The dry ginger is too much and gives it a sharp taste that takes over other flavors of the spices. It's hard on stomach too. I like Rani spices because she does not add salt, fillers or colors. Although Indian spices are nowdays are adultred with toxic colors and fillers and have been banned in some Asian countries. India has zero regulation on food safety. I hope you do your own testing as a seller to protect the health of your customers.

I've bought Tandoori spice mixtures for many years, from assorted vendors both in England and in the USA, and I've bought other makes from Amazon in the past. Tandoori seasonings are normally not a hot mixture, but deeply flavored and commonly colored with a natural food coloring to bright red. They are classically used as a marinade for meat (mostly chicken) that is then rapidly cooked on a clay barbecue oven (a tandooor), though I also use then to make variants on Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. These are mild but very flavorful dishes. This mixture is ferociously hot! I like hot curries, but did not expect my Tandoori chicken to burn my lips (and not from temperature). My wife and kids gave up from the heat. I'm still trying to find other ways to use this up, since it is useless for the original purpose.

My kids, fussy eaters, love my homemade curry and this plastered over fresh chicken is always a winner.

I've been buying Rani products for years now and have never had any problems. Their spices and herbs (all their products really) are fresh, taste great and are quality. I can recommend this brand as a trustworthy brand.

use it with oil for roasted vegetables, especially good with roasted sweet potatoes

It's okay but not like any Tandori I've had. The high level of spice, although acceptable to me, I find is not like a traditional Tandori in any Indian restaurant I've been to.
