It is a great kit I recommend it. It came with all the pieces. At first I was scared for some bad reviews I read here but I decided to give it a chance and I'm happy with my decision with this product. The quality of the strands is nice and the colors are vibrant and the needles are very useful. I think the problem with the people who bought this and didn't like it is that they don't know how to use the punch needle and don't look for tutorials in internet. I'm a beginner and it was a little tricky at the beginning but once you understand how it works it gets better. Thank you seller!

I’m learning so it’s a good learning stuff

Overall good product for the price. 4 stars because the main needle punch tool does not work and needle was bent. I don't want to return the whole set but don't know how to get just it replaced. Also, the cloth the set comes with is great for embroidery, but seems a little too loose for punch needle. Loved everything else tho.

I love it just need no information never done it before

1) That stuff in the middle of the photo... That I circled in red... Those things are not part of this package. 2) the screw tension knob on the big blue needle holder is a big joke. 3) aside from those things, it's alright. I'll give it 5 stars.

Sadly I was super excited to get this as I wanna start a punch needle hobby after watching so many videos on how to do it. I watched how to thread it and when I received the stuff and saw all that I needed I was ready to go! That feeling was short lived sadly. After threading the punch pen and being excited that something I wanted to try was working the needle kept slipping even when tightened. And the “material” they give you is so thick and stiff the punches don’t stay in it. I followed all instructions and videos I’ve watched and it just wasn’t staying. So you definitely get what you pay for, this product won’t stop me from trying to do punch needle protects BUT this is NOT for beginners. It’s probably not even for seasoned punch embroidery people. Cheap material, cheap needles, I’m sure I can used the thread but I’ll have to buy an actual punch needle and a different material. This is disappointing right now but I won’t give up. I’ll just buy better. Just BE WARNED if you’re like me and wanna start this fun new hobby this is NOT the way to go.

This needle punch kit comes with a lot of different things that will help any beginner get started with this hobby. For the price and what it includes, you really can't go wrong. There are several different color spools of thread, the tension frames, variety of needles, and extra accessories that function fantastically and more than pay for itself when compared to craft store prices. This alone merits the 5 star rating for value for money. The 5 star rating for beginners is appropriate because the kit comes with just about everything you'd need to try out needle punch without breaking the bank. However, this is not something that I would gift to anyone who isn't a teen or child. With a price like this, you kind of assume that some concessions were made to be able to charge such a low price for the product. Unfortunately, the cheap quality of the threaders, the punch needle, and the scissors is where you kind of nod your head and say to yourself "Ah, this is why it was so affordable." The threaders did not correctly fit through the eye of the punch needle, and when I pulled on them to get the thread through the eye, the threader got stuck and then came apart. This also happens to cause the thread to unravel :(. The scissors look sharp, but when I tried to snip the frayed ends of thread it would not clip the thread and it actually caused it to damage the thread and fray some more. I am not sure if this says more about the thread or the scissors. I tried cutting a piece of paper to test, and it would not cut the paper either. It's not a big deal because I have several pairs of scissors but at the time those were the only accessible ones and they didn't work. Unfortunately, the punch needle is also made cheaply. The plastic was melted shut on the back end of the punch needle, which made it scary to undo to switch out the needle for fear of breaking it. To get the back end off, we ended up having to use a small file and exacto knife to cut it open and pull off. Needless to say it end does not screw back on and it pretty much just sits on top. However, this is not the worst part of the punch needle quality. Once you have managed to remove the bottom end, and you replace the needle, the little needle base did not fit properly because it had an extra piece of plastic that would not fit the joint. The joint socket has 2 prongs, but the needle base had 3 prongs. That 3rd prong had to be filed down. That is still not the worst part. The worst part is that the needle base is not big enough to fit the joint socket of the punch needle so it kind of just wiggles around there the whole time. Sometimes it falls out of place and you have to wiggle the whole pen around to get it to fall back in place. I ended up just going out and purchasing a good pen from Hobby Lobby. Other than those 3 things the set is pretty good.
