I purchased some heavy weight moving blankets from Amazon to use in a hanging position for sound reduction around my drum kit. The blankets are rated at 90 lb weight, not that they weigh 90 pounds, but I guess a way of classifying how dense and heavy duty the blankets are. I was considering buying a grommet kit but worried about the grommets ripping or falling out of the blanket edge. In looking for other ideas I found these clips on Amazon. The reviews were good so I took a chance. I love them! Out of the box it's obvious that they are more than sturdy! I used up 24 of them and every one had the same great quality build. The clips have the gripping end and also an eyelet on the opposite side. I'll be buying more because I can see their use for a variety of other hanging and covering needs. They cost a little over a buck a clip which is fine on my end considering how well made and sturdy they are.

These were actually perfect for my purpose. However they become fragile in cold weather, and temperatures here have only dropped into the teens so far. The studs snap off with only modest torque on the wing nuts when cold (35 deg f). The last time I visited my boat after high winds and temps in the low teens, I found 6 of them on the ground broken.

USED THEM FOR OUTDOOR CURTAINS - LUV THEM! The wind blows my outdoor patio curtains, use these to hold parachute rope with tie downs. They clamp well, I leave them on all the time, haven't faded or broken. I would suggest only for heavy duty use, not for thin curtains, tarps or materials as they clam well and my rip material. This brand is cheaper than others on site. I am sure people will find many uses for them

I got these for my camping gear! They are heavy duty, and appear to be very sturdy! These are perfect for when you need a little more control on your tarps! If your edges are giving out or don’t have enough grommets to hold where you want to! I’m sure they will come in handy, and plan to keep them with my tools and spare parts! I think MacGiver would love having these at hand!

All kinds of uses for this clips. They can hold down a very windy tarp or the side of a canopy tent easily. I'm going to buy more!
