I couldn’t find out from documentation about suitable for outdoor use as I have (unusually used it as a backplate for my doorbell. It does what it designed for perfectly. I’m just hoping my unusual use works over time but i doubt it is uPVC.

It is exactly what I wanted and is really easy to fit and install. I would definitely recommend.

Pros: 1. Proper white colour and not grey 2. Screwless make this look neater and sleeker than plates with screws. The plate can sit unobtrusively in place of redundant switches/sockets. 3. Dimensions are as stated. 4. ~£7 for a blank plate is a decent price. Cons: 1. Seem to protrude out of the wall too much but is only ~7mm thick. 2. Claims to be UKCA certified but cannot see any UKCA symbol anywhere. As it's early days yet, I cannot comment on the longevity.

The Blank Faceplate is as I anticipated it would be. The colour is a bright white which fits well with the other new sockets in my house. The item comes with instructions and fixings and is easy to fit. It looks very smart and tidy especially as the finish is totally smooth with no screw heads visible. It has a slim profile which is thinner than I had anticipated but it still feels sturdy. I am happy to recommend this. It functions well, is of a decent quality and therefore good value for money, at the time of this review. 5 stars.
