Hair colour removal
Wonderful and very effective, takes a good 84 mins to do properly and the smell isn't to over powering, but the end results are brilliant, tho I do suggest you buy yourself a very good conditioner as it does leave your hair dry! With a slight smell after. Overall really happy with this product! Highly recommend that if u have thick/long hair buy 2 boxes.

Very effective, hair intact
Used this product to get rid of years worth of dye build up, it was very effective. Hair was a dark reddish brown, not is a soft, light browny-blonde (intending to dye over the top). I bought two boxes and did do it twice just to get some more dye out but would have been happy enough to stop at one. The formula smells quite terrible (rotting eggs, I just threw my old towel away!), but I was prepared for this as it said so on the box. I doubt any colour remover would smell good. The best thing about it is it hasn't destroyed my hair. I have always been reluctant to do home hair colour removers because I've heard it can really damage and dry out hair, but it comes with a conditioner and doesn't contain any bleach or ammonia. I did it twice then washed and dried my hair afterwards with my normal shampoo and condition and my hair feels absolutely fine. Would certainly recommend. Edited to update: the horrid smell can linger for a long time, I tried baking soda and water on my hair, wrapped it in cling film for a couple of hours, then used a lot of shampoo and hair food conditioner. Smells fine now (I did the first lot two days ago)

Great product . Got rid of the dye I hated.
At the start of the year I had blonde hair (which I’ve had for years). Then I decided to go a pinky/purple. Then back to blonde, then dark purple, followed by red. My hair was a mess but I didn’t care. I wasn’t going anywhere with this pandemic. I decided for the new year I need to sort my hair out and so after visiting numerous sites, reading numerous reviews I opted for this colour remover as it seemed to be the best (review wise). I got out all the bottles (all labelled by a different letter) of the box and the plastic gloves and read the instruction - which were pretty basic and lacking some information, such as how to mix the liquids. I presumed bottles A&B went together and then were shaken and applied to hair, like hair dye, but the instructions didn’t mention this so I found a video online which showed me. Yes they go together. I parted my hair (I naughtily didn’t do a strand or allergy test as I’ve been dyeing my hair for years and decided to take the risk) I then squirted on the remover. You have to make sure you completely saturate your hair in the product. So make sure you use the complete bottle. The smell is a bit like rotten eggs but not too overpowering. I opened the window before I started to make sure I didn’t stink the place out as I didn’t know how it would smell. Once all the remover was on I had to wrap my hair in cling film (make sure you have some before you begin) and then put a towel on top and set my alarm for 45 mins. Once the time is up you have to rinse you hair and this is the bit that is a pain. You have to rinse for at least 5 minutes to make sure all the colour is out. You then use half of bottle C and massage that into your hair and the rinse again for five minutes (after leaving it to sit for one minute). After the rinse you then add the other half of bottle C and do the same again. After you have rinse this time for five minutes you need to add bottle D, the conditioner, and leave it on for a minute and then rinse that for five minutes. I was fed up of all the rinsing. Especially as I was leaning over the bath and it was back breaking after a while. So be prepared for 20 mins minimum of rinsing your hair alone. This isn’t a quick process. There will be some eggy smell on your hair when you have completed the removing process. I’ve washed my hair once since and the smell is still there. My hair though is a great colour. It is back to being one colour and blonde again. I had bought a blonde dye in case my hair went orange but it was fine (apparently goes orange if you remove light colours). Overall I’m happy with the colour it left my hair. It was a little dry so I’ve used an intense conditioner since on it. A bit of a faff but worth it in the end. Just make sure you completely saturate your hair in the remover. Add the cling film and towel to heat your hair up and rinse thoroughly. Otherwise it won’t work as well. Also make sure to wear old clothes and cover surfaces.

Never again
So firstly i have to say this is not the first colour remover ive used . Due to menopause leaving my hair fragile and thinning ive decided not to permanently colour my hair so, Ive been growing my natural hair colour out for about 4 months (new growth is white and dark brown ) and the ends where a medium brown . Ive used a different brand a few times before and my hair has always gone a light copper which ive them been able to colour. This time i decided to get a semi permanent to help blend the new growth . I applied the remover wrapped my hair in cling film and every 10 minutes gave it a blast with a hair dryer . Rinsing it out was easy . However the ends of my hair where a really bright orange and even though i knew the semi permanent wouldnt do anything i put it on and crossed my fingers. Well it didnt work and not wanting to have to resort to a permanent colour to cover the orange i reached for my hubbys hair clippers . So now i have really short cropped hair and best of all over a week later and having washed my hair everyday since each time water hits it the smell of the solution comes back and it stinks. Not happy.
