Manchester ASME propane tank
This new tank replaced a 28 year old tank in our RV. The mounting brackets were in the same place as the old one, so no welding was needed. The new one is state-of-the-art, with a very sensitive fill / fuel cutoff valve which will shut off fuel automatically if there's a break in a line. All in all a very good product.

Metal shavings at two connections
Tank arrived and discovered two valves with metal shavings at connections. The tank side of the vapor valve has a small dent that could have caused the stripping to occur. Im concerned valves may have been stripped in manufacturing so will be returning

Manchester No Longer Makes Quality Propane Tanks
Manchester propane tanks used to be of the best and highest quality. Well all of that has changed. The quality of these tanks is horrible. Debris left in tank, namely a lot of weld slag. The interior of the tank is filthy as though the steel used is not cleaned in any way before the tank is built. Manchester quality is no more.

Solid Tank: no pressure guage included, no shipping container upon arrival!
Solid product but 4 stars due to the following: FYI...the products description is quite ambiguous but you need to purchase the Manchester snap-on Pressure Gauge separately. The guage is magnetic and snaps on to the bare lug (see pictures). The 12x32 tank mounted up under my 1972 Retro RV with minor adjustments. I purchased this one as a replacement for the old 1970's Manchester 19.1 gal. unit. Unfortunately, the new tank is 5 Gal. less than the original. The diameter on the new tank was smaller, so with the tight space to work with I purchased the smaller tank with the same mounting centers (LxW). Works great so far! Hope this review helps future customers!

Everything was great except vendors are having difficulty re-filling the tank
Everything was great except vendors are having difficulty re-filling the tank, Seems the connection between the tank valve for filling and the apparatus used at the fill station are not compatible. So I am doing research to see how I can make it work as everything else about the tank is good and I have it fully installed?

Exact Replacement for my 20 Year Old Tank, 5 stars
Same tank as my current one that popped a hole in it. No fuel gauge, but that was just a $10 part that snapped on. I dropped it to 4 stars because it came as just a tank. NO box, NO padding, NO protection for the paint. They just slapped a shipping label on the tank, and off it went.
