MT5の前後セットより片方だけ2セットのほうがはるかに安上がり。 ホース長さ調整用の小物も同梱されており、自分で組み付けやエア抜きができるならお得です。

Blessed be the true teachers. They save us many blunders. I put some MT 5's on the front. These were for the Rear, routed internally. All was well - plugged top end, w/ cylinder/ lever at highest point and pulled new hose through bottom, piggybacking old line being removed. Standard game. Unplug, trim excess, install compression nut, olive and insert and lost near zero inserting into the upper end into the master. Then I notice the banjo's facing the wrong direction. Okay, raise bike where caliper's highest (do not do this) and loosened the banjo's bolt, rotating the fitting 90degrees. While the fitting is now pointed perfectly (no matter what you think, do not do this) before I could shut it, a good deal of fluid simply gushed out onto my rag. It wouldn't bleed out by any 'easy methods' either. Finally I found an old vid by a guy that was as a rep for Magura - for MT 6's or some other ancient single pot stuff. I did what he said and it produced better feel than my front MT 5 does. Unlike the MT 6's, the MT 5's and 7's DO have a threaded port and typical brake kits have that fitting. I also found w/ our modern MT's there's no need to remove the pads, but the caliper needs to be hanging loose, off the frame. I also 'tapped' on and moved the upper end around a bit. That produced some bubbles, so it's confirmed as part of me method. Remounted calipers while clamping on a blade spacer and burned these babies in. Impressed. Highly recommended performance. No issues.
