This coiled lock is light, easy to use, and the combo resets without a fight. The coil stretches far enough and snaps back clean. It’s not heavy-duty security, but it’s good for quick grabs—locking a bag, helmet, or small gear. Simple, cheap, and does what it’s meant to do.

Solid lock, and I use it to lock a chain link gate. I like that the dials mostly click into place at a number, but they can still stop short of a whole number, meaning that you'll be trying to incrementally adjust one number or another to get the lock to open. This is a challenge with all locks of this type, not just this one. I wish, instead, that the numbers had hard stops--making it difficult to stop the disk in-between two digits. The dials are also shaped in such a way, slightly concave, that makes it easier to grip and spin. However, I wish the dials were slightly further apart. I'm just a regularly sized guy, but find it challenging to move just one dial at a time due to my finger width. That's especially true when the lock disks aren't directly facing me or when you've lost a little dexterity in the winter months.

We used this for two weeks and the lock froze up and had to be cut off.
