No break in required. Feels like warm butter on my feet (although haven’t tried that yet). These are super comfortable and are exactly what I ordered. I haven’t tried them on throughout a whole work day but overall so far, they are extremely comfortable.

It is not waterproof. I am a mailman and have to walk thru all types of weather and these boots are not built for all types of weather. The say water proof and now my feet are drenched in tons of water. Horrible.
