Transformers Generations Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Blackwing

As others had said in previous reviews. The tailfins are made of super soft plastic and come really bend from the way it was packaged. The hot water method will help a little but it will never be 100% straight. The figure itself is as close as the Generation One as you are going to get without paying paying a premium for the retro one from long ago. Also if you buy his brother Dreadwing it will combine with him to create Blackwings from the Japanese Transformers Masterforce cartoon.

I was pleasantly surprised by the color scheme in person. The colors really pop in robot mode. The prime armor attached to the chest makes for a stout deluxe class figure. If you count the wings, he almost sits as tall as a voyager figure. Jet mode is decent but robot mode takes the cake!

This figure was 70% when I got it. I got two to complete combines I had with missing limbs. I'm very pleased.

I really like this thing. I like the head sculpt. Honestly because the original toy was a power master and they did make a power master prime I think they could have added throttle. But the hand is close enough. I think the transformation is good but like others the back wings are bent. Because they are made on soft rubber it bends and you need to use a hair drier. But mine are not too bent and it still looks good.

Really nice product though had to go on utube to finally figure out how it works. My son loves it as he collect these.

An overall fun figure, if a tad complicated to get into its other modes at first. Does not come with instructions on how to turn into a leg. The hand piece is rather bulky and unattractive as armor, it could do without, but it does make for a somewhat fun toy piece. However, the combination with Dreadwind is terrible, as its held together by one not-very stable connection. Fun toy, could be better.

I should’ve been tried Amazon, for this figure! I hate that I’m missing Moonracer, this figure is amazing. Great price and fast shipping!

nice price for this one...now gotta pick up his partner two issues * wish teh wings notches would hook onto the hands, unless the design is for mobility * wish for ,vehicle mode, the underside to have more plane decal or coverage on the arms
