It's a great book for beginners who wants to learn Spanish. The words and language is easy and easily understandable as I am intermediate now and I recommend it to those who are beginners because it's easy.

Great handbook for Spanish learners, specially for beginners.

It has the required information and pictures required for learning most of spoken and reading Spanish. But the edition is very old, of 1965 so it is unsure whether there has been any updates on Spanish language

The SIMPLEST Spanish self-taught book ever! Of course, this method has its own limitations, but in combination with a formal 'teach-yourself' book is makes a near-perfect combination.

Useful for beginners but very small and costly book . Also , not written systematically.

Book is nice but it's a very short book for high price may $7 not much in US but in India it's a expensive

love this book , deceptively simple idea but the genuis is in the choice of what is important for you to know.. really does cover a lot for such a small book and with a bit of thought you can expand apon it yourself .. the book does a much better job than several more elaborate and expensive courses which lack the clarity. very good for a quick start and good memory aid..doesn't always give in depth explanation of grammer etc which you might want to look deeper into,but personally i would not fault it for that, i'd like to say its light and easy to follow and use without giving the impression that its lightweight very useful book ..wish i had an equivalent for the other languages i study..

I had the French version of this in my purse back in the early 80's in Montreal, QC. Handy to be able to converse easily with the devastatingly handsome French men frequenting the same clubs as I at the time (even if it seemed awkward to pull out a handy guide, they thought it was "charming" which it totally was). I kept it for years. When a friend told me about trying to learn Spanish for an upcoming trip (post COVID), I immediately thought of this guide and bought it for her. These have been around for decades and I was delighted to see they were still in circulation. For those not glued to apps, this is a fantastic alternative. Would buy again.
