Power requirements
I wish that I had found this before I started buying parts for my experiment. I still have all the parts in a box still waiting to be assembled. things that i would add to this kit would be some wago wire connectors. I would verify the watts needed to power this unit. My calculations show that 288 watts is to run the peltier chips alone at 12v and 6 amps. That is not including the minimal draw of the fans, for the same reason my project is setting on the sidelines yours may be too. Trying to find a power supply for this device once you add a pump you will need about 300 watts per hour. to keep it portable that would be about a 360 ah battery. Hopefully they used a good thermal paste to connect the chips to the cooling system, but they did not mention in the description. If your looking to build your own cooler dehumidifier for a experiment it looks like a great place to start.
