Pro-Ject Audio Connect it Model Phono RCA-CC Cable 1.23 Meters

I replaced my stock phono cables on a Project Carbon DC turntable with expensive inter connect cables, assuming I was improving the system. Later I replaced the Carbon DC with a Project X2 turntable and Hana SL cartridge and retained the old (expensive) inter connect cable. I noticed the left channel was not as loud as the right channel and adjusted the balance with my ELAC PPA 2 phono preamp (adjustable load for MC cartridges). Not satisfied with the 'fix' I later replaced the inter connect cable with the stock X2 cable and the channel imbalance was gone. I was finally convinced that cables can make a noticeable difference, so I invested in 'improved' dedicated phono cables, the Connect It RCA CC, 1.23 meters, and was amazed at what it did to my phono setup. Sound was lifted to another level. Midrange and treble seem more detailed. Bass is good, but I'm not certain the cabling helped. I suspect many are not getting the best out of their tables because of the cabling. Also, the stock Project X2 cable was better than the expensive interconnect cable.

For years I have been using a Radio Shack rca cable to connect my phono preamp to the main preamp. I realized that I might do better so I ordered one of these cable sets. What a difference, it was like getting a new phono preamp, eveything was better, everything. Highly recommended!

The Pro-Ject Audio Connect it Model Phono RCA-CC Cable is a definite upgrade over the stock cable. I had the best results connecting the blue end of the cable plugged into the turntable. Connected the other way around resulted in occasional static/noise and a very recessed soundstage.

I bought these to use with a new Pro-ject Carbon DC Turntable, but did not find an improvement in the quality of the sound. The high's were crystal clear, if somewhat clinical, but there was a noticeable drop off in the bass articulation and a loss of impact compared to the supplied cables with the turntable. The original cables had a "warmer " quality that I typically associate with albums and a more energetic drive. Perhaps with a different turntable or cartridge there might be an improvement, but didn't seem top be the case here with the Pro-ject Carbon DC.

Nice cables. Not sure if they’re worth the price but most stereo equipment is overpriced.

Decent replacement for the stock Pro-Ject cable that comes with Debut Carbon tables, but doesn't get rid of him noise. I have isolated the noise the cable connections.

The cable set was returned as the same cable set was included with the Pro-Ject Audio - Xperience Basic turntable that I had purchased. They are a great set of cables, but I only needed one set which was already included with the turntable.

Had to modify (reterminate) one end of the cable to solder into my 39 year old table but it works and sounds great!

Excellent upgrade phono interconnect for my Pro-ject Carbon Debut Turntable. I spoke to 2 different Turntable experts before upgrading. Both highly recommending this Phono Interconnect. Be patient though it will take around 40 hours of use to really convince a listener that it really is worthwhile. It adds a deeper a wider soundstage to allmost all recordings. The instruments are clearer and more refined. It makes the the instruments playing better defined and you hear all the musicians clearly in the mix. I listened to a wide range of bands and singers from Led Zeppelin to Gordon Lightfoot , Suzanne Vega to Creedence Clearwater Revival to name a few and everyone has that big upgrade in depth and scale. Its not cheap but it will add a huge boost too any serious music listeners enjoyment. A very worthwhile upgrade.

Good cable, well built although I did not notice a very significant improvement over the stock cable that came with my turntable. Maybe after some breaking in it will be even better, hopefully.

Expected great things when I invested in this cable to complement my Pro-ject turntable, but it introduced a hum as soon as I fitted it - then, as I removed it from the turntable, the plug broke off. Please can I have a refund?
