Great part well made as always with AC DELCO Parts.
Great part well made as always with AC DELCO Parts I never have any issues. Gasket was in the box packed so that it would not get damaged as well as good quality gasket not cheap thin junk. This customer came to me with a failed leaking water pump coming out of the input shaft bearing seal. The water pump was a second one that she had installed from a local auto parts water pump within only 5k miles total between the two pumps. So I ordered this one for her 2006 Ford Mustang V6 4.0 liter and it fit perfectly as it should and has had no issues with this new AC DELCO pump installed and she now has 6k miles on this new pump with no issues. You get what you pay for. The two failed water pumps she showed me the boxes that they were in and I've never seen or heard of that brand as well as the bearings and seals were just so very loose and trashed. Would I recommend and would I buy this AC DELCO part again???? YES I WOULD. ASE MASTER CERTIFIED TECH & Shop Owner Napa Certified Auto Shop . I ordered this pump through Amazon due to that I got it faster then I could from my Napa supplier as they were sold out of this part at the time. Thanks, Dave

Looks great, installed easily on my 2007 Ford Mustang V6!
Looks great, fit great. Came with a felt gasket, so had to use silicone gasket maker to complete seam. Did not come with a metal gasket as other reviewers stated. Item description did not say one way or the other. Will see how it does cooling- and sealing-wise as the next few weeks of driving will show. Fingers crossed!

Easy and worth it
Replaced the old water pump, good quality, can’t complain it stopped the squeaky noise, not leaking anymore. In a scale from 1-10 it was a 3 to do.

Good pump so far
This is the 4th water pump I’ve ordered in general that wasn’t scratched on the mating surface that could cause a leak. Came in great shape and it’s a metal gasket unlike the others that came with the flimsy cork gasket. Highly recommend replacing the thermostat as well since you’ll be removing parts to access the water pump might as well do it. It was $25 for me and I replaced the small rubber hose at the top of the pump For $9 at my local Autozone. Get the coolant off here my 2010 mustang took G05 coolant I got them for $12 a bottle an absolute steal. Also did a radiator replacement too. Also recommend getting new water pump bolts. One of my old one snapped in the block (luckily I got it out). So 12 bolts cost me $36 at the dealership because nowhere else sells these bolts. Only got a few miles in her so far but good seal, no leaks and car is at Norman operating temp. Will update when I have more miles on it. Currently at 174,050 ish miles.

No leaks, seal came in good condition, have to bleed the system to get air out, but is pumping fluid throughout the coolant system like a factory pump should do.
