Hands down, my grandson loved it. The value for the money is outstanding, the toy was well made and easy to put together, was a perfect choice for my grandson's age (he's five), and the track just performs. My grandson now loves to sit and watch the hot wheels just whizz by. I cannot speak to the battery life as we just set up the track a week ago, but I can say that it has seen a lot of use between now and then and the original batteries are still going strong at this point. I'd say that this Hot Wheels set is appropriate for ages 5 and up and would make the day of any child, collector, or enthusiast.

Well designed to snap together (once the letters on bottom of each piece are found). They are a little difficult to snap but designed to stay together. This manually powered race track works! Child learns how to position car and when to release into cranked-up launch chute. Cars WILL go up ramps and return with strong launch. We used Formula 1 Hot Wheels. Happy our child has some use for the Hot Wheels other than looking at them or pushing by hand. Good for boys or girls! Probably age 4 is a stretch, but an 8 year old enjoyed it.

This Hot Wheels track set was a Christmas gift hit with the nephews and kept them busy with tons of fun. It was super easy to put together, felt very durable during rough playtime, and the boys thought it was great.

Ton of fun for the money! This might be one of the best $30 toys out there, especially if your kids like racing. Not only is the infinite lap mode a lot of fun (waiting to see what car will fly off the track first), but the race mode where it counts down the lap and determines a winner is our favorite. It is not always the same starting order, so it makes it a lot of fun for the kids to keep doing new races and seeing who comes out on top (isn't that the fun of racing?!)...Highly recommend this toy, also its not too large which is nice

Our 6 year old loved this present, great little track which is expandable but gives a high speed loop of of the box! It's got a manual flywheel set-up that once up to speed, and maintained, the cars fly around the circuit.

Bought for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas. He is a Hot Wheels fan and also loves F1. Easy track to put together rather noisy to use though.
