This is an awesome little RC boat! My boys (my husband and my eight year old son) both LOVE this boat! It's so fun to run up to the lake and zip it around for a while. Battery life is decent... You get about 10-15 minutes runtime (thankfully the lake is close by!). The remote lets you know when you're starting to run low on battery so you can bring it to shore. And the boat surprisingly goes pretty fast! We're going to order a second battery so we can spend more time at the lake each time! I would definitely recommend this RC boat if you're looking for something fast & fun, yet affordable. After reading some of the other reviews, I think an important thing to know is that once the battery is charged, the boat HAS GOT TO BE IN THE WATER in order to function!! If you turn it on outside of the water, it will be beep constantly at you as if it were malfunctioning. It needs water to work!

My kid really liked it, I myself use it too. Even in the beach is fast but i need a extra battery for more enjoyable moments coz it only runs for 30mins. Non stop use. All in all you get your money's worth.

It would be a good gift if you like somewhat fast boats but if you like fast boats I would get a different one because there are other boats for the same price that go faster. Also they don't say how fast it goes in the pictures they say it in small letters to the right of it which is also downside because I was wanting a fast boat and it looked faster in the video but it only goes 15 mph. Overall is a pretty good boat I just wish it went faster.

I took this to a lake and drove it around a little. It felt like it was super fast and it runs insanely well. Overall if you're looking for a good boat, get this.

This product is a piece of CRAP. Do not purchase.!! I used this one time once the battery died i charged it up and the boat only went in circles it would not change directions. Charged it again and the boat would not connect . After putting it away for a week tried it again and now it took 10 minutes to connect then would not go. It connected because the Rutter would move but only in one direction. the motor would not turn after trying several times. My grandson was disappointed. and of course the thirty dat return date had passed now all my grandson can do is push it around the pool. WASTE OF MONEY SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS.

First unit worked great for 10 minutes, then lost rudder control. I think a bit of water got inside, but it can't be helped because the seal isn't great. Once water gets in the rudder twitches uncontrolled and can't be used to steer. Sent back, got a prompt replacement. Replacement is a bit better, but sometimes loses rudder control still (neither lose prop control, though, prop always works correct). On the plus side, the range is excellent, battery life good, and its pretty fun and quirky.

We were the life of the lake! Bought these for my husband and 8 year old son. They had a blast and so did everyone watching. They are super fast, easy to maneuver and can dive under water. The self righting feature is the best. They have a really far distancing ability and let you know when the battery is getting low. I wish the battery lasted longer but with the low cost of the boats I didn't mind buying more batteries. Great buy.

So much fun! Easy to assemble and operate. Really needs a bigger or second battery. Low bat warning works well. Seems durable and is quick.

My 6 year old son bought this with his own money. I was into high end rc vehicles when I was young so I have a good idea of what is good and bad. I was not expecting much as this was about the lowest cost boat that looked half decent. I am actually really impressed with this boat. It looks well made and is solid. It is really fast. I was quite surprised just how fast it was. It is really good in rough water. It is super easy to self right and it has a good seal on the hatch. You can even submarine with it a bit after launching off a wave and stays dry. Couple nice bonuses are a spare prop and a rubber bow cover that is great for your pool. Love the audible signals when getting low on battery. Battery life is pretty good. Again, better than I was expecting. Son loves it. Was a great buy and would highly recommend.
