Very durable and great fit for a Fenix LD10 flashlight
I did a lot of research to find a holder that would fit my flashlight well, and this is it. I have a Fenix LD10. There are actually surprisingly few flashlight holders for belts that I could find. It's a velcro close, which I like. I'm a theatre electrician, so I spend a lot of time up at heights, and it always stays in its case until I open it; the velcro is plenty sticky to hold it closed. I hang upside down sometimes, and it still stays. Yet, it's so easy to access it when I need it. Sometimes, I wish it had a quieter way of staying closed instead of velcro, but the peace of mind the velco provides for it staying closed outweighs the noise aspect. I wear it on my belt 5-7 days a week and it has held up well since I bought it in late April 2015. It's a little loose in back where it attaches to my belt, but it doesn't jostle as I go about my day, so no big deal.

Maxpedition Quality!
I bought two of these sheaths for my setup, one for my Leatherman Wave, and one for a T1 flashlight. This sheath is very well constructed and perfectly fits my T1 flashlight, as Maxpedition built this model specifically to hold it. I feel lucky that I had purchased the lanyard loop for my Wave a few days earlier, because otherwise it'd be impossible to remove from this sheath! After a week or so of working the Wave in and out of the sheath using a carabiner, it pulls out fine with the loop, but I might add a paracord pull to make it easier. The Leatherman bit kit and extension absolutely won't fit, there's barely enough room for the tool itself!TacTies are an absolute must to attach this to any MOLLE gear, I had no trouble with the webbing in any case. Any other attachment method wouldn't be able to fit inside.

Carries an Olight S20 fine.
This is a great flashlight sheath. I have mine attached to the side of a 5.11 Rush 12 backpack. It carries around an Olight S20. It's a fairly loose fit but it does the job. I have attached a picture to show the fit for this particular flashlight In the picture I have the velcro flap folded back out of the way so you can see how the flashlight fits in there. I have no fear of losing my flashlight when it's in this sheath. The velcro closure stays shut no matter what.

No horizontal carry
I did not like it because I could not carry it horizontally on my belt. I switched over to the Maxpedition single mag sheath for my flashlight and it works perfectly.

Uber High Quality
Maxpedition gear is simply the toughest and longest lasting gear you can buy. I've had multiple bags that still look brand new despite dragging them across the country every week and throwing them under a seat. This sheath is no different - it replaced a factory fenix sheath, and it will outlast your flashlight.Awesome gear for a reasonable price.

Maxpedition 4-inch Flashlight Sheath
Maxpedition Gear 4-inch flashlight sheath arrived from Knife Country in good condition. Well packaged as if it might be fragile. Pleased with Knife Country's quick service. Case seems very well made and should last me for many years. Nice fit for Fenix E35, Maglite XL-50 and Coleman Max.

Built well; fits well; but how well will it wear?
Disclaimer: I have just received this item and have yet to use it in similar manner as its predecessor - that said...The sheath ships in plastic sleeve wire-tied to a cardboard insert. The image provided does it no justice; the sheath has Maxpedition's classic robust design and structure. Approximately eight individual layers of ballistic nylon are visible in profile; the belt loops, hook-and-pile tape, and pocket are constructed of separate pieces subsequently attached together. All edges are taped and Maxpedition used significant amounts of double-stitching to reinforce the nylon. The sheath is four inches (10.6 cm) tall from the bottom of the sheath to the top of the pocket and five inches (12.7 cm) tall at the peak of the flap with the flap closed at its lowest position. The sheath is 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) in width and depth, essentially forming a rectangular prism. One inch (2.5 cm) down from the top of the pocket, Maxpedition placed a 1 inch (2.5 cm) elastic band to facilitate retention. The front pile material is mounted over this band and extends the full length of the enclosed area. Maxpedition included a drain hole at the bottom. Two nylon loops are present, one at the top rear between the cover and the belt loop and one at the bottom front of the cover. The belt loop itself is 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) in length and features three 1 inch (2.5 cm) webbing sections for MOLLE-style attachment. As a note, due to the extremely limited spacing between the loops, Maxpedition's own TacTies or other, similar mechanisms may be required to use appropriately.Onto the real question - why did I buy this? Second, how am I using it? I carry a Leatherman Wave daily, both for work and as a pocket toolkit. Lovely multitool, really. Sadly, eight months after I purchased the Leatherman, I managed to destroy the factory MOLLE-compatible sheath. Too much friction literally wore the bottom of the ballistic nylon away and created a bottomless pocket. Leatherman was apologetic but stated that their warranty does not cover sheaths - fair enough; no harm, no foul - and it is readily documented on their Web site. Most similar-sized pockets/pouches/small nylon enclosing doohickeys lack robust construction or were comparatively expensive for the anticipated wear lifetime. Then I found this sheath with only one question remaining: how secure is the Wave once placed?Answer: fantastically. The Wave seats snugly at the bottom with 1/8 inch (3 mm) peeking just above the enclosed area. Because the cover flap curves over the top, the Wave can slide vertically; however, the absence of lateral play means that it cannot fall out. Like all Maxpedition products, the hook-and-pile material is extremely aggressive and shows no indications of weakness even during aggressive access.Only time will tell how robust it really is.

Passable Leatherman Case
Used this to hold my Leatherman Wave on my work belt. Made it nearly four years of daily use before being replaced. Not bad at all!
