Q: Is it possible to replace the hdd with ssd

Warning, You take this advice at your own risk the seller, nor I take any responsibility for what happens due to your actions! The official answer from Apple is NO, and second, it will void your warranty with the seller as to why I will say in a moment. On the other hand, I can say that it is possible, but you will have a tough time doing it. You see the only way to get to the HDD or RAM upgrade, is for you to get the screen off but the screen itself is glued in with adhesive, so you will need to purchase a replacement adhesive here or on ebay. Once you do get it, you will have to be extremely careful with the replacement process as the machine's PSU (Power Supply Unit) is completely exposed. Even when unplugged from mains, it still holds enough electric charge enough to give you an electric shock. So with that logic in mind, if you are grounded and touch live trace while it's plugged into mains, you will be zapped in the good case or die in the worst. If you do not understand what I just wrote above, please for the love of God get yourself a PC as these iMacs are hard to repair and extremely dangerous when done improperly!

Yes, but with cable connection only. I bought wireless keyboard and mouse and never looked back.
