Love it.
NIce quality! These have come a long way since the early ones I owned in the 2000s. Love the 88 keys, and it's mobile enough to be able to move around with care. Fits nicely in a lot of places because it isn't overly wide like many keyboards, and that is exactly what I love about it, sleek, adds visual appeal to a room. Great sound quality, works well.

Good Keyboard
Really nice keyboard. This was an upgrade from my Yahmaha PSS-780 which I had for over 35 years. The 88 full size keys are great. It says seni-weighted but the feel is light, The velocity is ok, I mainly play this with the Grandeur Grand Piano. Sometimes I get an errant note far and few between, Keyboard, My playing, software, PC? I don't know but its not been a problem. Really good keyboard for the price. Fun to play. Easy hookup using either USB or Midi cabling. One distraction is the amount of flashing on the white keys.

Great Piano!
My husband absolutely loves this piano! It is easy to set up and connect to other programs. I thought this piano made noise but later found out it was blank! LOL. Lucky me, my husband loved it and uses it to record music with various instruments using this piano!! Sounds great, the touch is soft and easy to carry around and setting up.

Works. But has quirks.
For the most part it works as it should. I run this keyboard through a Presonus MIDI interface into a MacBook (and older one) with an outdated version of GarageBand. 99% of the time it works great. But every so often I have to power cycle the keyboard and unplug the interface because there will be no sound. But this could also be because of my outdated hardware and software. Overall great purchase, gets a lot of use from me.

Straight to Logic Pro - no programming required
This is a great controller. If you want a synth, look elsewhere. But if you have great software like Logic Pro, you'll never run out of sounds this thing can control. The pitch wheel is flawless, and the modulation changes the sound in subtle ways (or large ways if you want). I don't use this to control my software. I sit at a computer and create when using this keyboard. I just use it for the keys and the pitch/mod wheels, and that's it. And that will keep me occupied for a long time to come. The keys aren't weighted like the upright grand I learned to play on - but it's fine. The key actions are just fine. If you want realism, spend a LOT more money and go for it. The thing is, if you want to adjust attack etc. in MIDI, you have all the flexibility you want in the LP software. I didn't download any of the software they included with this as I have no use for it. YMMV. Overall I think it was money well spent and am quite happy with the purchase.

Exactly how most reviewers describe it
I wanted a midi controller to get what I played into my DAW as midi notes. This was easy plug and play into my iPad 9, worked with garageband, free synths from the App store and AUM. Its one of the more popular midi controllers at its price point. I got it when it was on sale, so it was good value for me. (No real "must have features" to get if I bought a similarly priced competing brand). After using it for awhile, I am not bothered by the click sound of key press that some reviewers say, but I do not like the "semi weighted" keys. I prefer the full weighted keys of an acoustic piano, or the non weighted keys of cheaper synths. The semi weighted feels just "tight" enough to bother me when I push down, but different enough from acoustic pianos that I notice. That's a "me thing." It might be perfect if you want less than the weight of an acoustic piano but still some resistance\feedback. Functions perfeclty for me and how it is described. And if I ever visit a friend's home studio, there's a good chance this same brand is at that producer's desk too.

A decent upgrade from the 2nd gen Keystation
I purchased a discounted warehouse copy of this keyboard. The shipping box wasn't taped shut and there wasn't a lot of padding or airbags/peanuts to support the keyboard in the shipping box Amazon used. However, the keyboard seems to have arrived without any noticeable damage. I am coming from a Keystation II 61 that lasted through 11 years of use, but finally started to show it's age in an automatically detuning pitchbend. I will say, compared to the previous 2nd generation Keystation, the footprint of this 3rd generation is even more compact. I also appreciate that the controls are on the side, out of the way now. The key feel is about the same with slightly less key travel from the 2nd gen. The keys are quieter in this 3rd gen however as the 2nd gen would make a metallic springy sound in some of the keys in my copy. With this 3rd gen, the two, green octave lights are super bright, I will be using tape or something to mask those as I don't believe there is a means to dim them in the settings. Windows 10 automatically detected it once connected via USB and Cubase picked it up as well. In any case, this was a nice discount from a brand new model and looks like it was brand new. Even the instructions guide seems to be unopened. I hope this lasts another decade or more too!
