As someone who achieved a 2520 (99th percentile) in 2025, I absolutely loved using this book, especially because it includes a full mock exam. This book was really helpful early on in my UCAT preparation and is one I’d definitely recommend getting before fully moving onto digital platforms. The full mock exam was probably my favourite part of this book. I used it as a diagnostic exam, and it gave me a really clear idea of where I was starting from. It helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses early, which made my prep a lot more focused instead of just guessing what I needed to work on. The sheer number of questions was great. There’s a solid mix across all sections, and the difficulty felt realistic. It was challenging enough to push me but still manageable at an early stage of preparation. The explanations were clear and easy to follow, which made reviewing mistakes actually useful rather than frustrating. This book is especially good to start early in your preparation. It helped me build confidence and understand UCAT style questions without immediately jumping into paid digital platforms. By the time I did move onto digital resources later, I already had a strong foundation and knew what I needed to focus on. Overall, this book was 100 percent worth it. The full mock exam is a really diagnostic tool, and the practice questions are high quality and well explained. I’d strongly recommend getting this early on, using it to build your skills, and then transitioning to digital platforms once you’re more comfortable with the exam format.
