If you prefer firmer rice, then reduce the cooking time and use less water — also consider adding butter for a bit of extra flavor. I have tried other brands of brown rice but always come back to Uncle Ben’s. This rice always cooks well and has very good flavor. I have also found that this rice takes much less time to cook than store brands. The flavor and difference in cook time and consistency make this worth a little extra cost to me.

Great product. I love that it cooks in 20 minutes and yet it has the fiber and nutrient of brown rice. I mix it with white rice and have a nice blend that my family accepts better than if all was brown rice. Uncle Ben's converted rice it wonderful and this bag was at a reasonable price. I do prefer a smaller bag, that I have bought weveral times but this one is less expensive per pound.

This has got to be the best brown rice I’ve found yet. I’ve been a journey of brown rice hunting and have been let down by textures, taste, and cook time. This brand doesn’t disappoint. The taste is incredible. The grains are sturdy, and the cook time is just a bit longer than white rice. I would advise when purchasing to store it in a sealable container to keep jugs out and keep it protected from spills. It’s definitely a lot of rice for the money spent. Definitely a repeat customer.

Overall it is good product. Brown rice is better than white rice. However, I prefer the texture of Uncle Ben’s parboiled rice. Good price
