Metagenics - CandiBactin - AR 120 softgels

My doctor recommended both the Metaginics CandiBactin AR & BR. After seeing reviews, I thought it would be better to try them one at a time to see how I'd respond to each. All was well with BR. However, AR was not. At first I had a headache - then nausea - then the chills and frequent trips to the restroom. I felt like I had the flu. I went to bed at 7:00 pm - finally felt like the worst part was over around 4:00 am. I have no idea why I responded so bad - but I won't try it again. Glad it's helping others.

My naturopath prescribed it take these when I had terrible candida and H. PYLORI, along with some other supplements. Never had the issues since, and I was able to wean off this eventually.

My gastrointestinal doctor prescribed this to kill bacteria and enzymes that showed up in tests. It’s a strong supplement, definitely eat, it works!

was very happy (and relieved) to receive these directly from the Metagenics company, both the AR & BR labeled with "Practitioner Exclusive" on bottles. I was a little bit apprehensive about ordering these off amazon. This will be my second time treating my SIBO unfortunately, after not following through with after treatment protocol and finding out I had an H Pylori infection which needed addressing first. But these REALLY work. I had hydrogen dominant sibo, and after about a week of detox and die off reactions, started feeling SO much better and all my histamine related issues vanished, eczema cleared up, most other symptoms and body systems started balancing. It seemed miraculous! I'm looking forward to retreating after H Pylori protocol and getting back to feeling good again :) These are strong and it's important to follow a protocol suited to you after treatment to heal gut lining and rebalance probiotic bacteria. My doctor had me take 2 of each 2x day with meals. I follow Dr. Nirala Jacobi's Bi-phasic diet. Things I highly recommend for sibo treatment and to do your research on: simple, natural *capsule free* prokinetics: -fresh ginger tea at least 2x day (between meals) -triphala powder, 1/4-1/2 tsp 2x day (between meals) continue prokinetics after treatment! bitters are also great milk thistle 150mg 1-3x day for liver/detox support consider biofilm breakers if severe sibo gas levels, but I don't think they're always necessary. note things like ginger, coconut oil, black cumin seed oil are natural biofilm breakers activated charcoal and/or bentonite clay for 4-5 days first week and third week of treatment to help "mop up" die off sacharomyces boulardii turmeric tea or supplement, taken with fat black cumin seed oil for histamine intolerance, also antimicrobial (make sure to eat lots of omega 3s, as it's high in omega 6) other things that really helped my histamine intolerance were lots of fresh herbs, quercetin, and Ancestral Supplements desiccated kidney (high in DAO, selenium) also if you're missing garlic on low fodmap/sibo diet, I make crushed garlic infused olive oil which is great to drizzle on things and also has antimicrobial properties the only things I have to complain about is the price of these on amazon is completely unreasonable. I got these from my doctor for ~$60-70 each, and would have again if it wasn't a long drive. also I REALLY wish companies, especially well researched driven ones like this would STOP using TOXIC fillers, excipients, coatings like hypromellose and magnesium stearate which is in the BR formula. but this is highly effective and treatment is WAY more important that avoiding those things.

Candibacin AR and BR are truly a lifesaver when it comes to killing sibo. I tried taking Xifaxin but the die-off symptoms were so intense I wasn’t able to last more than a day. The candibactin protocol allows you to ease Into the protocol slowly, avoiding a massive rush of die off symptoms. I hope this company never stops making it, it’s a miracle medicine.
