I have been using routers for... well, a *very* long time. To date, this router is hands down the very best consumer-grade model I have ever had. The GUI is exceptionally well designed and it is super easy to find one's way around the settings. It works equally as well for experienced users as it does for brand new "plug-and-play" people. For a new user, it would not be intimidating to set up. For an experienced one, it is a breath of fresh air. The connectivity remains strong and I have multiple devices. While I prefer having tri or quad band capability, this serves multiple devices on two connections without any conflict. My connection is used heavily at home, we are all gamers and avid netziens... and there have been zero issues with this router to date. (Side note: If you use VOIP - you must set up the router first, and THEN set up VOIP system second).

かなりマニアックな製品ですが、国産より素晴らしいです。 比較的容易にVPNの構築が出来き、安定性も良いです。 電波の飛びも良く、中継が不要になりました。 FAN内蔵ですが、この夏を乗り切れるかテストになります。

こんな便利なルータがあったのかと、思い知らされました。 前からメーカは知っていたのですが、もっと早く買っておけばよかったです。 タイトルでも書いた通り基本性能も高いですが、中身はOpenWrtなので、 そこの仕様を知っている人は標準GUIだけではできないことができます。 例えば、WiFiアクセスポイントは標準だとゲスト用も含めて4個程度しか作れませんが、 直接OpenWrtの設定ファイルを書き換える方法を知っていれば、WiFiチップの仕様の10個以上の アクセスポイントを作成できたりなど。もちろんこの方法で作った場合はGUIからの設定変更は対応 しておらず、自身でviを使って設定変更する必要がありますが。 あと、VPNのTailscaleも標準搭載されているので、難しいポート開放やプロトコルを気にせず 簡単にVPNを張れるのもすごい便利です。 今は実家にこのルータを置いていますが、私の自宅と兄弟の家にもこのルータ（のもっと小型のもの）を おいてTailscaleでネットワークを作り、実家に置いたNASをみんなで使えるようにする、 みたいなことも考えています。 上級者ほどワクワクする製品ですね。

Initial impressions (unboxing): power cable is a multi-voltage (110-240V) wall-wart which only comes with a Japan/US adapter. The cable is far too short for proper product placement so a separate extension cable is required. The web user interface looks nice and it prompts for a new password on initial setup rather than relying on manufacturer defaults - nice! Will update further once I get it fully configured and up and running, but for now it's mixed reactions. The wall-wart PSU is the reason for the low initial rating. Much better would have been a proper figure-8 power-cable based power brick which would allow better options for plugging it in or, ideally, an integrated PSU.

Expensive, but very, very much worth the money

購入24時間以内に外からポートフォーワーディングにてLANをアクセスしようとしたら完全にフリーズをして電源を切る必要になった。 見た目でかっこいいし自信を持たせるほど本体の重さもあるし。 しかしこんな値段で1日2回クラッシュすることはどう考えてもアウトです。 早速返金頼みました。本当に残念でした。 結局他の五つ星をしてるレビューは皆Vineユーザだよね。やっぱりこのルーターみたい、信頼できない。
