I was a bit apprehensive when I received the rods since I didn't read the full details of the sizing options. It IS adjustable, but not by the typical way. It is in segments, so the sizes are limited to the size of the segments, it does NOT slide into itself. You must use it in 16 inch increments. That said, it was workable for my window and I believe the style of the construction makes it stronger. They screw together well, nice and tight, not sloppy or cheap looking, no bendable thin metal. It's doing a great job holding my black out drapes. I needed a smaller diameter to fit the command strip curtain holders (rental, don't want to drill holes) and it's a perfect size for them. All in all, it works really well for what I needed and is definitely strong enough for the job.

These have been truly amazing for the price. We placed these on some 3M hooks to be able to hang curtains without hole drilling. They are light enough that those have held great. For the longer lengths I recommend three hooks to keep the bar from bending as it is thin. With the included screws/attachments I’m sure it would hold even better and you can just follow what’s in the instructions. But definitely works great with just some wall hooks. Our curtains are quite long and have some weight to them and with the three hooks we have not had any issues with them bending. Easy to adjust for length and looks elegant.

Very nice and easy to put up

A little small ball then I expected. They work fine but are not very adjustable since them come in larger sections. At least they will not come apart since the sections are screwed together.

I was expecting the quality of the rods to be a little bit sturdier than what they actual are but they’re getting the job done. All of the necessary hardware arrived with the packaging and the color is perfect for me. As for the scratch resistance, it seems to be ok. It was easy to put together and extend the rod to the desired length that I needed. I didn’t give a 5 because it’s not as strong as I thought it would be for a curtain rod.
