I bought this to replace a broken pressure gauge on my Hayward swimming pool filter. I installed it using a T-fitting on the pressure gauge port to connect both this gauge and an electronic ADC sensor. The readings from this gauge match the electronic sensor exactly, so I trust that it’s accurate. The gauge itself feels well-built and of high quality. It was easy to install and is very easy to read. Great value and performance—five stars from me.

Looks nice, I figured the stainless case would be better than a chromed steel case. Liquid filled is generally better than dry for reliability and longevity. But the bubble in the glycerin is rather large. So large that the upper part of the dial - in the 10-20 PSI range - isn't covered by the glycerin. I could live with that, the glycerin in the mechanism would still get me reliability. But once installed the inside of the glass (where there is the bubble and no glycerin) was covered with condensation, see photo. So it's not hard to read, see photo. And unfortunately this range (10-20 PSI) is the working range for a residential boiler. This is the second glycerin-filled gauge that has had the same problem. So I can't say if this one is unique or if all liquid-filled gauges have this issue. This range of gauge is typical for boiler systems, so one would expect that it would be OK with hot (but certainly not boiling) temperatures.
