Recently got a new iPad and I was researching good paper-like screen protectors could use, I’ve heard many matte screen protectors tend to disorientate the screen and are too grainy. I needed one that wouldn’t take away from the original bright screen of the iPad and still would feel like paper. Originally I was going to purchase the Bersem paper-like protector but then this brand caught my eye and looked promising. I am so glad I went with this decision this is genuinely the protector I was looking for. Feels EXACTLY like paper, and it’s not too harsh on the pencil nib and doesn’t feel like straight-up sandpaper. For $8.99, this delivers excellent quality and fulfills its promises. Installation was a little tricky but definitely not hard if you’ve installed screen protectors before, it comes with all the stickers and things you need so nothing is required for set-up. The bubbles were so easy to get rid of and the screen went on smoothly, the screen is still bright and once you begin writing on it, you’ll never want to stop! Definitely go for this one, I’m glad I stumbled upon this brand, I saved so much money and am very satisfied with my purchase!

It truely feels like paper. For 8$, I have no complains. I followed the instructions and I have very few bubbles.

As described & does exactly what I need it to. I was afraid the paper-like texture would be off-putting, but it’s actually really nice. Really helps with fingerprints and smudges, too; you can still see some, obviously, but they’re not nearly as distracting as on the shiny screen surface. Also helps cut down on glare off the screen. I only have to take a star off cuz installation was extremely frustrating for me. I’ll fully admit it was partially user error—I ended up wasting one of the films because I was trying so hard to get dust out from under it, that I really badly creased the film & it caused an even worse bubble than the dust did. But even putting on the second one was difficult, and I *still* creased/dented the film a tiny bit while peeling it back to get rid of a particularly awful dust bubble. Basically, you have to make sure you’re putting the protective film on in a completely 100% dust- & pet hair-free environment, because *something* is going to get underneath it and it is incredibly hard to get out. You have to peel the file back and try to quickly get rid of the offending dust or hair before more inevitably sneak under; you only have the provided “dust removal sticker” to work with and it’s just not strong enough to pick up particles that are already stuck on the sticky side; and you have to do this without creasing, bending, or denting the film, which is really easy to do when you’re trying to hold it back and press the dust removal sticker hard enough to actually get dust off of the film. I bite my nails really short and they still managed to dent the film enough that it’s got a perma-bubble. Tl;dr it’s functional, good quality, and does what’s promised, but installation is tricky unless you magically live somewhere without even a speck of dust and no pets.

Update: I revised my stars rating as the seller reached out to me over their concern of the mishap described below and notified me that they sent a refund as customer service is important to them. Now this actually impressed me. It brings me a peace of mind to know if I do ever have an issue in the future, they do listen to their customers and do care about the quality of the product. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I go to install the second screen cover only to realize it isn’t paper like or matte at all! The first one was and I liked it while it lasted only several months as doing word puzzles on my iPad caused it to wear off in the same spots thus creating a smooth slippery glare, so I replaced it….well, now I have a shiny and non-matte cover on that I do not have confidence in as it is not as advertised. I also wonder if it has any blue light protection in it as it sure seems very “bright” in its appearance. Hopefully this one will last longer than the other but time will tell.
