I have bought 2-3 packs of these tips. I use this tool every day with a large 346 thread in our leather shop. So it is understandable that they wear out quickly. However, the last set I bought came bent over in the package and each of the tips broke the first time I pressed the button to heat it up. Just heating up the tips caused them to break. Super frustrating! I did order another set and they also came bent over, so I am sending this set back rather than going through the same thing as the last set that broke.

This device does a fantastic job with threads on my leatherwork! Smooth cuts, clean ends. And the end is just thick enough afterwards to not pull back through.

not happy the ends wernd even when i opened these today and wires are all bent up

Sheerness is the worse, tips bend and break so you end up spending more then you should on replacing them.
