Nice powerful grow light bulb that can be used with a regular lamp. The round bulb design is good for giving a lot of light and warmth in a relatively small area, like a small shelf. The timer is pretty precise. Note that the bulb does get warm and creates warmth for the plants under its light, but it's not hot enough to hurt if you touch it. So you need to pick plants that like warmth to use that light. If you prefer cooler light and/or something that covers a wider area, I would recommend using a tube-shaped grow light.

I have to say how impressed I am with this seller and the grow bulb. First, the bulb is excellent quality and works very effectively, and second, when I noticed a recent price drop on this bulb 2 weeks after I purchased it for a higher price, I reached out to the seller and they refunded me the difference with ease and expediency. I couldn’t be happier with this transaction and I will definitely buy more bulbs from them in the future!

I must say in advance that these bulbs should never be used in a closed shade. These lamps get very hot. If you want your shade to look cute, then get something like wicker, rattan, or rod with open spaces. I had a 36w bulb with a rattan and white cloth shade. I could not touch the bulb and felt heat coming off of it. Once I removed the white cloth shade, it still looked cute with the rattan shade and there was no heat. I read some of the reviews with several people having issues with the remote. I have had it a couple of days and the plants are loving it. I ordered a floor lamp I am waiting for, but I was able to screw it into a ceiling fan light fixture with an extension for now and the plants are drinking up this light. I love the remote feature that is working well so far. I am considering purchasing another for a hanging grow lamp. What is nice is you can use these bulbs in any regular lamp so long as the socket on both are compatible.
