FOXBC 12-1/2 Inch Planer Blades Replacement for DeWalt DW734 Planer, Replace DW7342 - Set of 3

2nd time I bought blades from this brand. Good price. Forgot what sharp blades can do especially at this price. Cheaper to buy new than sharpen. More convenient also.

Seem to cut good, big difference in price between these and OEM. I don’t feel quite as bad if they get nicked because they not expensive. They fit like OEM.

They fit perfectly in my DW734. No issues. Crazy sharp. Seem durable. If you treat them well, they will treat you well. By the way, if you are like me, you hate your little lunchbox planer. It is noisy and you constantly have to buy these blades. You probably want a nice big Laguna with a helical head. One way to get there is to not buy these blades, but instead just put up with your old blades. Every few projects you put the $26 you would have spent in a piggy bank. After about 100 projects you'll be able to afford half of the Laguna. For the other half, you can sell that rider mower you got last year. You don't have to mow the lawn. That's just conforming to your neighborhood's unreasonable landscaping standards.

Yeah, it's cheap. But it seems to do a pretty good job. We've been planing both hard and soft woods and it goes through them both with ease. The wood comes out as you'd want, smooth with no signs of gouging or surface blemishes. Even on pine knots, it manages to do a respectable job. For the money, you'll be happy with the results.

My dad had a dewalt plainer DW734 that he wasnt using, he is 85, and I am 56. He made me buy it from him. I guess I get it, but, it should have been a gift honestly. Anyways he mentioned the blades needed to be changed, and they certainly did. I found these and bought 2 sets. I have to say, I was really surprised at how well these performed, esp when the trend is to get a Helix replacement. For the price thought, yeah if your not doing rocket science wood projects, these will do.

Nice and sharp

Bought these blades April 23 for my Dewalt planner. These blades are double sided and very sharp. Easy to install, but it does take a few minutes to undue all the screws that hold the blades. I recently had the chance to try out the new blades. For the price, I did not think they would work that great. I had to plane down some 2x6 pieces of wood because they had old paint on them and a bit warped. I was very surprised how well the blades did the job. The wood went through the planner like butter. The pieces of wood look brand new. As stated, the blades are very sharp and work very well. Careful when installing the blades so you don't cut yourself.

Cheaper than Dewalt brand.

I swapped these into my planer and ran several hard maple boards through, and it cut like butter - definitely better than my dulled DeWalt blades. With how much it costs for a helical cutting head, I could go through 10 sets of these instead, and probably still come out ahead. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but if they even last half as long as the official ones, it'll still be worth it (even considering the time it takes to swap them out).

Se ven de buena calidad, el detalle que tuve fue que me llegó en un estuche que no decía la marca de producto eso me puso en duda pero se verá con el uso

Fait sur un Mastercraft 55-6792-8. (2 lames au lieu de 3 sur Dewalt) Remplacement les lames 55-5533-2 C'etait un essaie, mais ils sont identiques. Et en plus, sur le dewalt, il y a 3 lames, sur le Mastercraft il y en a que 2. Donc, vous pouvez avoir "3 côtés neufs". C'est a dire : numéroté les coté de lame. 1ere lame : #1 et #2 2 lame : #1 et #3 3e lame : #2 et #3. Lorsque vous changez les lames, garez en tete les numéros. Fonctionne tres bien, mais je pense qu'elles sont lègerement moins durable que celle d'origine. Mais pour le prix comparer a celles d'origine, cest un 5 etoiles. Ca vaut la peine!

Parfait, les lames sont réversibles et compatibles avec mon planeur DeWalt 734. J’en achèterai à nouveau le temps venu.
