I’ve been cooking for 60 years now. This is a great product from a great spice company and a really good price. Aleppo is a mild heat pepper. Fruity flavor. Multiple applications: eggs, garlic bread, pasta, top meats and fish, mixed into homemade bread dooigh

I have recently started cooking Mediterranean style dishes and have started using new spices. This Aleppo pepper is an excellent addition The product came in a well packaged vacuum packed sleeve for freshness. The taste is exactly as described by The Mediterranean Chef Suzy describes. It tastes and looks fresh with mild heat and great taste. I do not consider it hot or lingering, buts adds a new depth of flavor for me. You can use it on anything in my opinion to add a little something special, but not overwhelming. I would purchase The Spice Way herbs and spices again for the fresh flavor I'm looking for.

This Aleppo pepper is fresh and very flavorful. I highly recommend this brand if you use lots of Aleppo pepper like I do.

We love this pepper. Sauteeing in oil brings some heat out but not as hot as red pepper flakes-has a more mild flavor. I use it as a rub for roast chicken and topping for pizza
